@calvinchoe100 at the old apartment (shown in this video), it is back with the projector. I bought a house a year ago and now the subwoofer is under the screen.
The HD65 can take a 1080 signal, but it has to scale it to it's native 720 output. Having the projector set at it's 1080 setting may indeed make certain material look better, but the end result is still a 1280x720 picture.
It's an Optoma HD65 that I got for sale on NewEgg during the 2008 Christmas season for $915. Component video goes to the projector and digital (optical) audio to an Onkyo HT-S3100 5.1 AVR.
Later on in the day, we got black curtains set up in this room to block out all daylight. I'll have to update with another video that shows off Wii, XBOX, etc.

Bought an Optoma hd20 a couple of days ago, obviously the first game I tried was Mass Effect :-)

That's correct -- I originally posted 1080p (incorrectly). It's a 720p, but still very nice.

the HD65 is a 720P projector, not 1080P.
