I didn't realize that it was illegal to pick up a "sack of money" anyway. And I know lots of people are telling you that you didn't have to talk to the cops but we all know that if you had been short with them they would have made your day a lot worse. Nobody likes kissing a cops butt but we really don't have a choice if we want to avoid a ticket. It seems like the cop should have told you guys why you were being pulled over especially if they want you out of the car. That's just weird.

She wasn't doing anything but driving back to Sacramento, and all they asked her was "Who are you here to see" and how long she was in TX and how.old she was. Texas police do this to a lot of people. It may very well have been because you're Black. But it may not have been. This has happened to me twice. Once in Temple and once in Lampasas. I think this is more evidence of an out of control police state than it is racism.
