I doubt that's Laura's "real singing voice"...I read an old review of one of the theatre productions she was in, and I recall the writer saying she had a nice voice. But I might be misremembering. Either way, it's a cute scene :)
I wonder if that is her real singing voice. Laura Innes is a great actress for sure, but if that is her real singing voice I hope she will stick to acting.
Female characters in television and movies tend to be lacking in complexity because they're merely being sold to the audience as a sex symbol. It's nice to see a complicated female character like Weaver.

She wasn't just a friend. But yeah, you can see she's really happy. This is one of my all time favourite scenes from E.R. =) I like so much the both of them together.
