  • WHAT SOUND SYSTEM TO YOU HAVE IN YOUR BB

  • @brohoop you sold your big boy model? WHY!!!! I am a railway modeller, I do not give my parents to touch them , you sold one. :(

  • your big boy sucks!!! Get the 4-8-8-4

  • looks just like mine except it is the #4005

  • Beautiful, absolutely beautiful! Makes me wish so much I hadn't sold my Rivarossi Big Boy. If this is a 4x8, then your curves must be no more than 22", right? Are they 18"? How does your BB handle your sharp curves? If it takes them well, then maybe I can build a small layout in my small apartment and run my Big Boy. Thanks for posting! Can't wait to see more!

  • Thanks! I've done a fair bit of work since posting this vid. Checkout my newer one "UP Big Boy 4001 at Night".

You're absolutly right, 22" is the max on a 4X8, but I've found my Rivarrosi Big Boy can get through abou a 17" - 17 1/2" radius on my baseboard. The radii is approximate because I'm using Peco code 100 flex-track for the Hornby and Tri-Ang I have.

  • @brohoop I run mine on 22" but 18" also works just doesn't look as good

  • I can't see the rest of your layout! It looks like you did some nice work. I would like to know if you got rid of the non-period cars and got the correct ones. Check out my vid. " model trains big boy 4015 & challengers"

  • That's pretty much it. It's only a 4 by 8. I've done a bit of work on it and I'll post images soon.
