The elites will get the best even here. But I guess that will not matter, since the population of the Earth will only be 25% of what it is now, the rest having been "eliminated." The rest of the Earth will be a wild life preserve. If you hate living in closed spaces, this is not for you. I think there is a lot that is good here, but humans will have to be far more advanced for something like this to not be manipulated into a prison for "those humans."
@vitaminsandstds and who said this not freedom? this is just a city! not a place where everyone will live. the whole idea is to implement new technology in our way of life, where we don't have to use gasoline anymore and nuclear power. im sure your lives in rural areas will be more rural and natural in a world where there's no pollution and government. but just remember this is just an idea for a better world. not some kind of prison or jail.
@vitaminsandstds lol funny because i also said the same thing in my mind. but as i look more into it then i realize that this is something we should think about. this is truly the future if we want to eliminate the problems of today, i know it sounds too much of a dream but hey what dream did never came true?
@juanlmesl most dreams never come true, like all the ones we don't know about because either the dreamers were too lazy to get their dreams out there, they were killed before they could achieve their dreams, they grew tired of the dream for whatever reason and moved on, etc.
@vitaminsandstds what about nelson mandelas dreams? what about martin luther king jr dream? what about ghanddis dream and others great men that help shape our world. they all came true, we can not be negative about its our future.
@vitaminsandstds Of course! I for one don't care anything about living in any city. However, there are things I like to do that I can't do on my farm. For those, I'd much prefer to go to a well organized city that is engineered to please our senses and accommodates our needs rather than choking the life out of us and driving us insane from the stress. TVP is about liberating people, not enslaving them and making them conform to a certain way of life.
Is our collective mentality so restricted from the incessant television ads, news reports and mindless entertainment that we can no longer see or imagine life without money?
When I was born I did not have to pay for this body, it was given to me freely.
In my opinion life without money is possible. I do not think it is..., I feel it is.
well if we can get our acts together stop killing each other it mite work that is we don't kill the planet first IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN p.s if you want to know why the go search and wach
A long time ago, Russian scientists predicted that human beings would be entering an evolutionary phase sometime during the circa of the year 2013. I sincerely hope that at the very least, if we don't become telepathic, that we at the very least receive a major intelligence boost. We need it really bad!
If every human being on this earth were to suddenly wake up after their evolutionary peak, then we'd have a chance to create such a world.
but as always this will be only avaliable to people who can afford to live in this futuristic cities, ask them what they are planning to settle the people who cant pay the price to get into this cities?
@lalitafals If i was goverment my friend, i would cut the militairy funding in half and invest in such cities for everyone to live in on normal standard house prizes. And all the money would go to building MORE of theere city' s...
Sounds good for the preservation of the planet and its resources, but its suggesting starting from scratch and rebuilding entire new cities and systems all over the world?
where would the projects be given consent to build? theres no space! it would only further create mass division between an already broken world. to me this sounds a lot like centralization. also, wheres the cemeteries? the ancient artifacts? the individualism? this does not reflect mans creativity, passion, or character.
@TheLisaGRAHAM Go to the venus project website and read some of the essays and watch the videos to get an understanding of the consensus that would have to be met before things like this are plausible. Of course, what is on the site shows what is possible, but a lot of people have been volunteering to try to get the "how" part down and get a plan of action set up and going. The main idea is sustainability vs. the idea of continuous growth. Check it out and pm me if you have any questions.
@roadkillrabbit69 this is all fair, but what about the families who like there privacy and dont want to live in micro managed uber oraganised human zoos
@TheLisaGRAHAM Its not a zoo and you are not deprivetized, on the countrary, most people would probably get 2 times the space they used to have. This together and surrounded by nature and livin in monumental and astounashing city' s can be quite good for family' s. Sorry to tell you but not everyone is a power morging , rich ass kissing asshole who only wants to consume at all costs -.-. If people dont want it, they can move outside the city simple.
@slayer2961 A. I am a chic and B. I doubt wether my country would ever buy into it,we live the dream here in new zealand,we r not paralyzed into an institute of thought that humanatarian freedom, peace and harmony will arise frm living uniformly, that it will fix all poverty and diminish all hunger of consumerism, sorry 2 tell u,but i am infact PRO earth, pro preservation.reuse, refuse, recycle and all that good stuff, gone r the days wea you thought EVERYONE was superficial and materialistic..sir
@TheLisaGRAHAM A good day to you :). I am sorry to burst your bubble, but you would be quite surpriced how many materialistic people walk the earth. Espesially here in Europe. Why do you think we have a crisis in the first place? You are quite lucky to live in such a beautifull and peacefull country as New Zealand. But unfortunately not all countries in the world are like that. And I aswell am for recycling , reuse and preservation of nature.
@slayer2961 i wouldnt be suprised at all at how many materialistic people walk the earth The world is plagued with clones no matter where u live.however thea is a strong contingent of people who seek lifestyles more based on values rather than 'the value of'.yes i am fortunate to live in nz and i do know other countries are in complete financial ruin, im just sayin, what does this venus project prove to solve? I guess so long as its optional it would function fine. Good day slayer
@TheLisaGRAHAM Like I said, you should go read the essays for a better understanding of what we're getting at. But there wouldn't be an invasion of your privacy living in the city or in a detached home. That's not the case today with everything you do being recorded. And why do you call it a micro managed uber organized human zoo? "Zoo" is more appropriate for today's cities. So is "micro managed" --especially when it comes to government. And is metro-efficiency not preferable to traffic jams?
@Garudanime lol yeah ive heard of the readily identifiable chip etc etc and the depopulization plans....fear not...more of us are awsre than most think! :)
people are saying that agenda 21 is the venus project and they are wrong wrong! do not believe that. Ive actually been reading the laborious agenda 21. it tries to throw in all these nice things like equal rights & special rights for women. But its really about containing people in little cities. It maybe resource based? but the flaw is that its still a money system. The venus project is so different. dont be fooled
@sereneyoshiko They might. Tsunamis don't actually raise the water level all that much out in open water. It's only when that energy comes to short and its pushed upwards do the waves become dangerous. Out in open water the wave may only raise the water level by 10 feet.
@MetalxXxMayhem thats a pretty good point but, I think that the cities above the water or any city whose base is supported by the earths crust, will be effected, potentially greatly affected by earthquakes, but they would be less effected if instead of supported by a beam to the ground, if they foated and were merely anchored to the bottom with a flexible tether... maybe they would only bob. but if a fissure happend and lava came out, pretty sure siesmic and volcanic activity would affect.
@sereneyoshiko Indeed. The bobbing idea is intriguing. Other than maybe some sea-sickness, it wouldn't be any worse than being on a cruise ship. Hell, it could be a lot better with the circular design. It might even out the sway a little. I guess we'd need a small scale test for that.
@MetalxXxMayhem Ive never really been out on a large boat, so I didnt think of sea sickness. O! I have an idea that might fix it: using the round shape building, if the outside is a shell and the inside also contains water and then inside of that, the real building can begin. kind of like how water likes to stay level, and doesnt transfer the same movement as a solid piece- the outershell could twist and turn but water between the shell and the inner building would not transfer the movement??

If you want to participate to make this become reality, you can check out zeitgeist movement. Zeitgeist Movement is a group that pushes the Venus Project out. There are groups of people that volunteer and gather together to express love to the world.
@fakerapperslapper I recall information on your argument having been in these messages. Try watching them again, I am certain that it was mentioned that trying to reuse existing structures was more costly than beneficial, we already declare ceratin buildings historical and preserve them, it is Very Expensive to do. Did you watch both parts of the message or just this part? Maybe you missed some of it?
There are tons of great ideas with this movement but my issue with it is the "fantasy cities"... Why not partition and re assign uses and retro fit existing buildings within existing cities? What are we supposed to do, bulldoze everything? Abandon cities and relocate to the middle of nowhere? Colonize Mars? Im sorry but that part of this makes no sense, because WHERE IN THE FUCK DO YOU EXPECT TO BUILD IT ALL?!?!?! Apply the principles to existing cities and you have a winner

I commented more on this on pt1 People really need to take some of these ideals about how people are held back by capitalist greed and apply it to a new way of life within existing cities, honestly how in the fuck does anyone expect to build all this shit everywhere to replace what we have, its ridiculous.
humans still need to evolve. either there is a collapse of civilization and the survivors of all nations band together or human society will just evolve natually do to the increased pressures
This is what the elite bankers will do after they wipe away everything off the planet with their super weaponry. WW3 will destroy all life on earth even though "THEY" already began that plan long ago with the purposeful and systematic destruction of key stone species and ecosystems. Look into the Georgia guide stones, agenda 21, the iron mountain report. This is smart cities and other fascist nw0 agendas for the debt slaves.
I cannot comment on the efficacy of such a system but I am struck how much these images look like Gerry Anderson's tv shows buildings which in themselves were trying to capture what the future would look like.
Isn't a large part of the population going to be lazy or fat when everything is will be regulated by computers and fabricated by robots? And what about disasters like the matrix, or iRobot, I think we're pretty close to a functional AI that in those cases could just be our demise.
@Nan0fire You need to research zeitgeist movement a bit more and your questions will be easily answered. The only question is how are we going to start.
@Nan0fire If I did not have to work to survive, I would work to better myself. And Those doomsday scenarios come out of pure and total fiction made up for the specific purpose of making money.
Now this has some darn interesting architecture solutions... and some of the depicted things seem to exist, some well done, some horridly done, in reality. As Statement of dream this is good... yet devil can hide in well meaning plans details. Understanding of life sustaining ecology seems limited, assuming floating habitations and fish farms cause no changes... and we may be fundamentally one people, but we are *darn different* in cultural solutions and that is good: Strenght in diversity.
The comments on this video make me feel so good on the inside, there is like no hate comments, and everyone seems like they are actually well educated.
They are trying to produce a mainstream motion picture for the Venus project, but they need donations. It's up to almost $39,000 5/8/11. All profits will go towards building the first city.
@Xmus44 That's the point boy, to get rid of money. When everything becomes automated so there is no point in charging money for anything anymore. No more poor but no more rich.
@Beef1188 yeah, that was what i just sed to paxenl!!!,but it still doesn't explain how we will get people motvatid to doo it,and the real problem with this is, that there's no possible vej to make a society without proplems. which makes someone have a better time than somebody else, and then jealousy is created. it's a total natural thing!
this all seems that we need everyone to work together but what about those who do not want to or cant, and who will lead this project without getting control.
@Xmus44 Nobody said we were making a society without problems, to how many people am i going to have to say that? This is getting ridiculous.
The motivation is to do things you would do when you don't work, but all the time not just when you don't work. Some people garden, some people like sports and so on... there are tones of stuff to do
maymbe I am sceptic, dont we wanne live mostely all in the biggest building and on the sea? what will the appertments cost and who is gonne work at the fishfarms helpservice ect?? will it not again make a difference between poor and rich?
Cult recruitment. Painting a pretty picture not once talking about the effects on people. This is really a cult centered around controlling what people do. We already live like that. Give money to this cause and die a double sucker. How will this be possible without all the things the cult members say are bad. Hell they will vote this comment down using a computer built by their sworn enemies.
@thundavolt I disagree. The Venus project is a first step in a right direction. The world is messed up and you know it. We are not reaching our full potential and we could if we tried.
*sigh* this makes me kinda depressed, y'no, the whole idea that you won't be alive to see it...unless there is some super sudden life span enhancement thingy migigaby. =)
Look forward to maintaining all of this, who's going to volenteer, a certain few? what about all the other free loaders that can't be fucked, We'll just end up back where we started. It's a shame that a small percentage of people can fuck it up for everyone else.
@tarfin that wouldn't happen. that's like saying, what if your alarm clock decided you were sleeping too much, so it woke you up every hour. computers don't run things, that isn't the Venus Project. you should research the facts before posting nonsense fears.
@tarfin well hopefully by the time we reach the point of overpopulation, with all the time and minds that will be focused on advancing humanity and not trying to make a profit, we would be able to settle on different planets or space stations. today we are raised to work for money creating greed because money = "better living". and here we will be raised to work together for everyone's well being without monetary constraints and debt. think of all the time you'll have to do what you really love.
only pollution like the buring of coal, gas and oil create bad weather like hurricanes. the planet is only reacting to the virus that are infecting it, like a sneeze.
That's all nice and by god....I would LOVE to see the day that humans work together. But that's not going to happen unless major co-operations,politicians and the human society as a whole stop fighting one another !
The Roman Empire is an example of a society collapsing when it deforested and ruined the land-base. There are many. However, the Nabateans of the Negev desert were thriving in an area with as low as 2-4 inches of rainfall a year. The question is will the Empirical society of technology continue to impose and violently enforce the dictates of a computer model? If a group or individual wants to stay out of the Technocracy would they have liberty to? There are many variables in the calculation.
@TheVeganerd As for computers deciding what actions should be taken in all matters, I don't believe we'll become complete slaves to a computer's decision-making skills. Human beings, can be taught right from wrong and will decide if an action is morally or ethically wrong. I think it's worth noting that a computer can be programmed to make decisions with our moral and ethical values being taken into account. As a programmer, I can tell you, this can be done.
@Elzon1 alot of this comes from nikola teslas article, "increasing human energy", he also talks about type 1,2,3 society's. so please look to the first humanist using science to make the world better. i remade his wireless power system to prove the feasabillty, i show a 20 ft wireless energy transfer, please i am helping by doing, i hope u guys got some time to check out my tesla work. this system allows the instant colonization of planets because energy would be transfered over the whole planet!
@transfoby I’d rather live there then this materialistic, corrupted shit hole that tells you from every angle you need to work to make a profit to buy some useless shit you don’t need regardless of damage the comes to our planet & its resources!
@Thegreyraccoon As long as we're using fossil fuels, we're not conserving enough. In case you haven't heard, we're using them far faster than they can be renewed. In fact, we're just beyond the point of no return when it comes to fossil fuels and we're barely slowing down.
@VirikNavarro Hahaha whats funny is that there is technology for free energy but NO they wana use oil, and gas, you know why? because it makes people rich, research vortex implosion( free energy) fact! enough energy hits the earth from the sun every minute to power the whole earth for 1 years everyone's house in every country.
@Thegreyraccoon Amazing, isn't it? So much untapped energy and nobody, save for scientists and social engineers like Jacque wants to utilize it to its potential. It's almost enough to piss you off, isn't it? There are literally thousands of (possibly more) ways to almost costlessly, tap energy from our local and not so local environment, but unless they can stick a dollar sign on it, they don't want to use it. Seems like big business is slowing our progress while killing our planet.
@moi1234567890 "they" are the bankers that own every country in the world and the owners of corporations who want us to be slaves........look up the bilderberg's theres allot more to it way more but there is a group of about 50 people who virtual own everything from the air we breath to the government we trust.its easy to find its just one big paper trail every company is owned by another company and so on leading to like 100 companies owned by maybe 50 people
@Thegreyraccoon that would require a ton of solar panels and way better battery and energy transportation technology, but I understand what you mean lol
@Thegreyraccoon even if it did use the same resources, we would be using different resources in the end that would allow us to preserve and conserve that which we are using to much of now!
@lockeseven7 Let me explain it in another way. There is this thing called "Global warming" and constantly they say is your fault, so some1 says i have the answer a new type of car called Hybrid. Ok sounds all nice right now lets break it down. so the car has recycled metals( Do you know how much energy it takes to melt metals?) you need new batteries( Do you know how hard it is to get lithium) and you have to sontinue creating a new thing from an old. the point is. in creating a new thing from
@lockeseven7 an old one then you are making the situation worse, in the end it will never be GOOD enough that is human mentality. Humans always inslave them self with their creations,
So what happens to people who prefer indigenous living? If this all becomes possible it would take vast extraction of resources and compromise ecological balance as has the present progressive civilization. The emphasis is on technology instead of unraveling the quirks of hubris that have people killing one another for a small profit. For a futurist utopia to manifest, the advances toward egalitarian & consensus based society take priority. Work in service to the collective has to be universal.
@TheVeganerd Computers are now able to calculate the necessary resources needed as well as their limited use. We are continuously finding new materials and ways to renew consumed materials. Case in point : Vehicles that use Electricity, Hydrogen and/or Oxygen are now possible. Nanotechnology will eventually allow us to create materials on atomic and molecular levels, thus allowing us to renew consumed materials. This is not a utopia, it's just another step beyond the stone age.
@VirikNavarro so what is awfully awry with natural people's way of life WITHOUT industry beyond stone tools? There are tribes maintaining balance between genders, equal sharing of gathered resources, actually improving the quality of land they live on. Civilized society functions in a way that can only be called addictive, a fertile land-base is necessary for survival and we've been decimating the land for bigger yields for profit for centuries.
@TheVeganerd Sooner or later this rock will kill all of us. It's just a matter of when and how. Of which, there are many possible ways. The sooner we find a way to sustain ourselves without the need for this planet and its resources, the better. I admit, civilization has done a great deal of harm to us (emotionally, psychologically, possibly even genetically) and the planet, ecologically, we still need to push for technological discoveries. It's a matter of continued survival.
@TheVeganerd We, nor our forefathers built all of this so that we could simply sit around and wait for an asteroid to hit Earth, thus killing all of us. That said, we do need to find a balance between ourselves and this planet's natural ecosystems. There should be no doubt in anybody's mind that this is true. Jacque Fresco's ideas are a step or two in the right direction, even if they're flawed, but then again, nothing really is perfect.
@TheVeganerd One of the many things people don't seem to acknowledge or understand about The Venus Project is that its sociological point of views are a rule-of-thumb, not intended to be law. Not only is life is ever-changing and people need to be able to adapt and adjust as necessary, we don't know, with absolute certainty, what makes us tick. Jaque Fresco's ideas and the scientific methodologies allow for a kind of leniency that allows us to change as we learn more about ourselves.
@TheVeganerd All of that said, I don't know whether or not all tribes/cultures/peoples should be assimilated by force. I don't believe they should, nor do I believe anybody else does, either. The only drawback to allowing others to be left out is: self-defense. What if they reached their nuclear age started playing with plutonium? There are, in fact a lot of variables, but those bridges sometimes, have to be crossed when we come to them. Maybe somebody else will figure it out. I don't know.
@VirikNavarro Good point. There is a lot of political hostility and unrest in the world that would affect the progression of a massive project like this. I too wonder if the uniqueness of existing cultures across the globe would survive, or possibly thrive when and if a project like this is implemented. After all, isn't the architectural wonder of the Tower of Pisa part of Italy's heritage and culture? I'm deeply interested in the efficiency of sustainable design, but at what cost?
WOW, I feel like a guest speaker! If you don't think 9/11 was an inside job, then you're blind. What is the Federal Reserve hiding if they don't want to be audited? Better yet, why do THEY have such privilege? Why was the oil spill not cleaned up immediately by all the people around the world who wanted to help for free?
What about the billion dollar bailouts for the bankers who gave themselves million dollar bonuses with that money? Why was there not a bailout for the people loosing their homes and jobs? How much more corruption do we have to talk about here?
How can you deny all of this? You want a New World Order who is going to be run by the people who OWN the world, and who want the population reduced to 500 milllion people? What kind of freedom is that!!!
As long as there was no monetary system and living off natural energy, this would be perfect! We need Disclosure so that our ET brothers and sisters can teach us what they know.
@janettkachuk lol i dont think anybody gets it! The NWO is the greatest thing to ever happen to us! These new cities will go where we are sitting doing fuck all, big things will be going down and when we die and our garbage ass, planet destroying homes are gone, The New World Order will have served it's purpose.
@HeedfulGibbon: I don't think you know what having a New World Order would do to our freedom. Do you WANT to be microchipped, and tracked wherever you go? Do you want your microship turned off whenever you don't do what THEY want you to do? Do you even KNOW WHO these people are who want a NWO? If you do, then you must be part of those who want to depopulate the world by 6 billion people!
@janettkachuk if microchipping becomes "manditory" it will only be for criminals, or sex offenders! You are speaking of paranoid dulisions that christian/republican/narrow minded people produce. The NWO is so much more than you or me or FEMA camps, or a police state or micro chipping! iT is a change in political thought and process and a change in the balance of power. A one world bank will be established, economies will be united and borders will eventually be torn down...
@janettkachuk ..and because we are all living through this transition we will most likely be affected by it. That is why people dont want it to happen! The fact is that ending our pollutive lifestyle and wiping away our carbon footprint is more important than you or me, and if people have taken it upon themselves to ensure that human race can move forward and evolve into a new age then i'm fine with that! Dont be so paranoid! Theres two sides to every story, even Alex Jones' stories..
@janettkachuk If its possible to live with out money on just natural energy then why are you not doing it? Many have tried and they have to keep giving up their ability to do what they want. If you keep giving up every thing then you are not living with out money on natural energy, you are just IN POVERTY! And there is nothing futuristic or high tec about poverty.
this shouldnt be about profit, get rid of government, let em take their out dated monetry system with em, then this could all go ahead unhindered by greed...
@itsaconspiracy1988 : Exactly! You GET IT! People are so brainwashed by money, that they can't even imagine life with new technology that would eliminate so much CRAP that we put up with! I like you!
Then that is your way of believing things. But sadly, not everyone believe this and as it has been shown, children change from generation to generation. Given 3 generations or so it would be fully accepted and anyone who disagrees which whatever system is up will be the extreme minority. You can weed out the bad qualities of the world today, you just need time, and if you disagree think about how we differ from the barbarians or the roman empire long ago.
I will disagree with you, I live the same kind of life you stated and this gives me hope to some degree. If you enjoy drawing, you will draw, you do not need to be payed to do so if you love it. The key part of this project is not to build a utopia, but to build a technological world in which peoples lives would be improved. The true spirit of this is an evolving city which changes to suit us better, to lock it into one 'golden' age would not be the same goal.
The elites will get the best even here. But I guess that will not matter, since the population of the Earth will only be 25% of what it is now, the rest having been "eliminated." The rest of the Earth will be a wild life preserve. If you hate living in closed spaces, this is not for you. I think there is a lot that is good here, but humans will have to be far more advanced for something like this to not be manipulated into a prison for "those humans."

vitaminsandstds 3 weeks ago
@vitaminsandstds and who said this not freedom? this is just a city! not a place where everyone will live. the whole idea is to implement new technology in our way of life, where we don't have to use gasoline anymore and nuclear power. im sure your lives in rural areas will be more rural and natural in a world where there's no pollution and government. but just remember this is just an idea for a better world. not some kind of prison or jail.

@vitaminsandstds lol funny because i also said the same thing in my mind. but as i look more into it then i realize that this is something we should think about. this is truly the future if we want to eliminate the problems of today, i know it sounds too much of a dream but hey what dream did never came true?
juanlmesl 2 weeks ago
@juanlmesl most dreams never come true, like all the ones we don't know about because either the dreamers were too lazy to get their dreams out there, they were killed before they could achieve their dreams, they grew tired of the dream for whatever reason and moved on, etc.
vitaminsandstds 2 weeks ago
@vitaminsandstds what about nelson mandelas dreams? what about martin luther king jr dream? what about ghanddis dream and others great men that help shape our world. they all came true, we can not be negative about its our future.
juanlmesl 2 weeks ago
@juanlmesl I think it's fair to say those dreams were the exceptions, not the norm :P
vitaminsandstds 2 weeks ago

TheLisaGRAHAM 1 week ago
@TheLisaGRAHAM A good day to you :). I am sorry to burst your bubble, but you would be quite surpriced how many materialistic people walk the earth. Espesially here in Europe. Why do you think we have a crisis in the first place? You are quite lucky to live in such a beautifull and peacefull country as New Zealand. But unfortunately not all countries in the world are like that. And I aswell am for recycling , reuse and preservation of nature.
A good day to you Miss.
slayer2961 1 week ago
@slayer2961 i wouldnt be suprised at all at how many materialistic people walk the earth The world is plagued with clones no matter where u live.however thea is a strong contingent of people who seek lifestyles more based on values rather than 'the value of'.yes i am fortunate to live in nz and i do know other countries are in complete financial ruin, im just sayin, what does this venus project prove to solve? I guess so long as its optional it would function fine. Good day slayer
TheLisaGRAHAM 1 week ago
@TheLisaGRAHAM Like I said, you should go read the essays for a better understanding of what we're getting at. But there wouldn't be an invasion of your privacy living in the city or in a detached home. That's not the case today with everything you do being recorded. And why do you call it a micro managed uber organized human zoo? "Zoo" is more appropriate for today's cities. So is "micro managed" --especially when it comes to government. And is metro-efficiency not preferable to traffic jams?
roadkillrabbit69 5 days ago
@TheLisaGRAHAM thats why they want to kill off 90% of the world population with fake vaccinations and WW3 between USA, Iran, Russia and China.

It maybe resource based? but the flaw is that its still a money system. The venus project is so different. dont be fooled

oceanic cities would not be safe from earthquakes.
sereneyoshiko 5 months ago
@sereneyoshiko They might. Tsunamis don't actually raise the water level all that much out in open water. It's only when that energy comes to short and its pushed upwards do the waves become dangerous. Out in open water the wave may only raise the water level by 10 feet.
MetalxXxMayhem 5 months ago
@MetalxXxMayhem thats a pretty good point but, I think that the cities above the water or any city whose base is supported by the earths crust, will be effected, potentially greatly affected by earthquakes, but they would be less effected if instead of supported by a beam to the ground, if they foated and were merely anchored to the bottom with a flexible tether... maybe they would only bob. but if a fissure happend and lava came out, pretty sure siesmic and volcanic activity would affect.
sereneyoshiko 5 months ago
@sereneyoshiko Indeed. The bobbing idea is intriguing. Other than maybe some sea-sickness, it wouldn't be any worse than being on a cruise ship. Hell, it could be a lot better with the circular design. It might even out the sway a little. I guess we'd need a small scale test for that.
MetalxXxMayhem 5 months ago
@MetalxXxMayhem Ive never really been out on a large boat, so I didnt think of sea sickness. O! I have an idea that might fix it: using the round shape building, if the outside is a shell and the inside also contains water and then inside of that, the real building can begin. kind of like how water likes to stay level, and doesnt transfer the same movement as a solid piece- the outershell could twist and turn but water between the shell and the inner building would not transfer the movement??

The Roman Empire is an example of a society collapsing when it deforested and ruined the land-base. There are many. However, the Nabateans of the Negev desert were thriving in an area with as low as 2-4 inches of rainfall a year. The question is will the Empirical society of technology continue to impose and violently enforce the dictates of a computer model? If a group or individual wants to stay out of the Technocracy would they have liberty to? There are many variables in the calculation.
TheVeganerd 1 year ago
@TheVeganerd As for computers deciding what actions should be taken in all matters, I don't believe we'll become complete slaves to a computer's decision-making skills. Human beings, can be taught right from wrong and will decide if an action is morally or ethically wrong. I think it's worth noting that a computer can be programmed to make decisions with our moral and ethical values being taken into account. As a programmer, I can tell you, this can be done.

TheVeganerd 1 year ago
@TheVeganerd Computers are now able to calculate the necessary resources needed as well as their limited use. We are continuously finding new materials and ways to renew consumed materials. Case in point : Vehicles that use Electricity, Hydrogen and/or Oxygen are now possible. Nanotechnology will eventually allow us to create materials on atomic and molecular levels, thus allowing us to renew consumed materials. This is not a utopia, it's just another step beyond the stone age.
VirikNavarro 1 year ago
@VirikNavarro so what is awfully awry with natural people's way of life WITHOUT industry beyond stone tools? There are tribes maintaining balance between genders, equal sharing of gathered resources, actually improving the quality of land they live on. Civilized society functions in a way that can only be called addictive, a fertile land-base is necessary for survival and we've been decimating the land for bigger yields for profit for centuries.
TheVeganerd 1 year ago
@TheVeganerd Sooner or later this rock will kill all of us. It's just a matter of when and how. Of which, there are many possible ways. The sooner we find a way to sustain ourselves without the need for this planet and its resources, the better. I admit, civilization has done a great deal of harm to us (emotionally, psychologically, possibly even genetically) and the planet, ecologically, we still need to push for technological discoveries. It's a matter of continued survival.
VirikNavarro 1 year ago

VirikNavarro 1 year ago
@TheVeganerd All of that said, I don't know whether or not all tribes/cultures/peoples should be assimilated by force. I don't believe they should, nor do I believe anybody else does, either. The only drawback to allowing others to be left out is: self-defense. What if they reached their nuclear age started playing with plutonium? There are, in fact a lot of variables, but those bridges sometimes, have to be crossed when we come to them. Maybe somebody else will figure it out. I don't know.
VirikNavarro 1 year ago
@VirikNavarro Good point. There is a lot of political hostility and unrest in the world that would affect the progression of a massive project like this. I too wonder if the uniqueness of existing cultures across the globe would survive, or possibly thrive when and if a project like this is implemented. After all, isn't the architectural wonder of the Tower of Pisa part of Italy's heritage and culture? I'm deeply interested in the efficiency of sustainable design, but at what cost?

What about the billion dollar bailouts for the bankers who gave themselves million dollar bonuses with that money? Why was there not a bailout for the people loosing their homes and jobs? How much more corruption do we have to talk about here?
janettkachuk 1 year ago
How can you deny all of this? You want a New World Order who is going to be run by the people who OWN the world, and who want the population reduced to 500 milllion people? What kind of freedom is that!!!

this is giving me a boner!

As long as there was no monetary system and living off natural energy, this would be perfect! We need Disclosure so that our ET brothers and sisters can teach us what they know.
janettkachuk 1 year ago
@janettkachuk lol i dont think anybody gets it! The NWO is the greatest thing to ever happen to us! These new cities will go where we are sitting doing fuck all, big things will be going down and when we die and our garbage ass, planet destroying homes are gone, The New World Order will have served it's purpose.
HeedfulGibbon 1 year ago
@HeedfulGibbon: I don't think you know what having a New World Order would do to our freedom. Do you WANT to be microchipped, and tracked wherever you go? Do you want your microship turned off whenever you don't do what THEY want you to do? Do you even KNOW WHO these people are who want a NWO? If you do, then you must be part of those who want to depopulate the world by 6 billion people!
janettkachuk 1 year ago
@janettkachuk if microchipping becomes "manditory" it will only be for criminals, or sex offenders! You are speaking of paranoid dulisions that christian/republican/narrow minded people produce. The NWO is so much more than you or me or FEMA camps, or a police state or micro chipping! iT is a change in political thought and process and a change in the balance of power. A one world bank will be established, economies will be united and borders will eventually be torn down...
HeedfulGibbon 1 year ago
@janettkachuk ..and because we are all living through this transition we will most likely be affected by it. That is why people dont want it to happen! The fact is that ending our pollutive lifestyle and wiping away our carbon footprint is more important than you or me, and if people have taken it upon themselves to ensure that human race can move forward and evolve into a new age then i'm fine with that! Dont be so paranoid! Theres two sides to every story, even Alex Jones' stories..
HeedfulGibbon 1 year ago
@janettkachuk If its possible to live with out money on just natural energy then why are you not doing it? Many have tried and they have to keep giving up their ability to do what they want. If you keep giving up every thing then you are not living with out money on natural energy, you are just IN POVERTY! And there is nothing futuristic or high tec about poverty.

this shouldnt be about profit, get rid of government, let em take their out dated monetry system with em, then this could all go ahead unhindered by greed...
itsaconspiracy1988 1 year ago
@itsaconspiracy1988 : Exactly! You GET IT! People are so brainwashed by money, that they can't even imagine life with new technology that would eliminate so much CRAP that we put up with! I like you!

In order for this to be reality mans spiritual character must evolve to the level of mans technological ability.

I chose a city where the artist would not fear the censor. Where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality.
I chose..... Rapture!

@Krantz2389

@Krantz2389

I don't want to live there.
