You will alway remain my super-star every time play urs song remind me my weekend in nigeria at JB in Ibadan. proud to be african and god bless sister
Every body knows that Yvonne Chaka-Chaka is South African. And we all know that she is an African. No matter where she comes from so as is black, she is an African. "said by Late Peter Tosh "
Reminds me of the days my family and I would come back to the motherland Africa/Cameroon and my dad would be blasting this song and many others from her in the car on our way to the village lol. This woman and her music is part of my childhood. Thanks for sharing. Wish there was a better song quality.
@mnhassan100 Yvonne Chaka Chaka is from South Africa not West Africa. She was very popular throughout Africa particularly in South and East Africa but she's South African. It's pretty obvious from her appearance that she's not from West Africa.
i luv dis song...though am nt from south Africa...am a Nigerian ....back in d days my dad use to play her music which made me luv her n her music....... Her song gives people encouragement to people.....luv u chaka chaka
I cry 4 freedom. Stop the Aparthied that's still going on in South Africa today. That's some 'whites' are still very reluctant to abandone their discriminative attitudes. We wish that one day scientists will be able to discodify the apartheid/ racist genes from the genetic codes of their embrions so that we could one day have healthy individuals who are NOT racist. And live happily together. ONELOVEONEWORLD4ALL IN JESUS NAME AMEN.

Domestic violence is still one big issue in Africa. It's time for the African men to Acknowledge the African women!

Greatest of her time. Yvonne Chaka Chaka’s music was one of best in West Africa by then
I wonder what happened to her and her music. Her music snow bring back great memory.
And now Mr. Dube rocked up completely to another level for the JAH men; Rastafarians
Yvonne, we still love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your music never dies.
