1:30 - Not all statements that start with "you" are "blaming statements." How do you deliver a compliment without saying (or implying) "you"? I do agree that it's better/safer to use "I" statements than "you" statements.
As a person who thought I had conquered whatever it was that had led me into one unhappy or abusive relationship or another, I was not aware that I still had problems setting boundaries. I have realized I was just avoiding situations where I might have my boundaries overrun. I have started learning the strength to set appropriate limits and feel good about it. This clip hits those lessons dead on -- Its like having a personal therapy session that you can replay again whenever you may need it.
This is a very good basic primer everyone should learn as soon as they start learning their 3 R's. The world would be a much safer and kinder place.
