Ugh! Why don't they write stuff like this anymore? I know that the audience is younger, but we're intelligent. The audience can appreciate writing, acting, and character development like THIS!! Thank goodness for you tube....
1986, 1987, 1990 and 1991 were banner years for ATWT. Headwriter Doug Marland wrote great stories and characters. You don't see such real, maturely-written scenes like this on soaps anymore.

I started watching As The World Turns in the fifties. I remember Penny, Bob's sister. That was a great storyline....and the best was with Susan.

Took more than a year for them to resolve that...HAPPILY. :) Wish they were on the show more nowadays.
