  • @metalrock90 Believe it or not there are rap songs that do not use samples from other artists. Also

To say that rappers have no musical talent is absurd. You have rappers that play they own instruments. See the group The Roots. Poetry is a major form of music talent.

As a musician, your statement comes off very ignorant. Please do your research before speaking about music.

  • @metalrock90

You missed the point. You're supposed to capture the essence of emotion...we aren't talking Beethoven here. We're talking hip hop.

  • That's because its genesis. Do yourself a favor and go get a copy of Selling England by the Pound. dopest beats feature collins on the set. believe.

  • man i cant stop listening to this

  • @metalrock90 Rappper generally dont make the beat, not always the case but I doubt Raekwon or The Game made the beat. I ain't heard the Genesis song but its sounds like a decent enough beat to me. Hip hop requires samples, if you dont like it go bump that shit from the 70's.

  • @metalrock90 bore off (Y) its a shit beat anyway!

  • @metalrock90 bore off (Y)

  • @metalrock90 i totally agree with you and that's what i also said, cause it is not logical to take samples from epic rock songs. It just doesnt fit, even,if it is melodic...

  • this kind of sample is a crime

  • Music period before 2000! Word up!

  • I remember old times :)

  • O MY GOD THIS IS SO COOOLLL!!!!

GREETZ FROM BOBB MC... ADD ME FOR FUN ON XBOX LIVE.. FORMER NUMBER OF THE WORLD IN GEARS OF WAR 1 AND 2

  • the 6 ppl that disliked this must like death metal or sum shit

  • RAEKWON MY NIGGA.....im reppin vatican lol

  • "firth of fifth" by genesis live version from the 1977 double album "seconds out" phil collins and chester thomson (drums) tony banks (keyboard ) steve hackett (guitar sound) mike rutherford( bass line)

    great groove

  • sample from the song " firth of fifth" by genesis live version from the 1977 double album "seconds out" phil collins and chester thomson (drums) tony banks (keyboards ) steve hackett (guitar sound) mike rutherford( bass line) good choice , by DJ absolut , this is the grooviest part of the song

  • Rae working with Game is disappointing, in saying that, it's a chance for Rae to look good lyrically in comparison to Game. Sorta like when you hang out with ugly people.

  • @BlivOne lol nw thats funny dude...if u dnt lyk game its kwl bt game sick man!!!!

  • nice song nigga ;)

  • dman aint heard this for about a year use to bump this shit in the car go to st. augastine bumping dis shit mann u know how they'll look ya man rap relaxes me when this came out 2 years ago i went wit ma dad to work on taking carpets out and replacing them and it sucked 12 years old worked all day but for money ill do it again just need an mp3

  • yeah niggas get at this pussy ayo think about some of the things we say right like boongee wha tha fuk did that word come from coochie wha dey do i mean

  • was this on released on some album?

  • @hiphopfoelife The mixtape that I heard this on was "Blood on Chef's Apron." That was a dope ass mixtape, but it was hard to find in stores down here.

  • @ms0487a thanks man!

  • love this shit

  • the original by genesis isnt that good as this beat is

  • @ryderyderyder you're talking about 2 totally different styles/genres of music!

  • Do love the early Genesis sample

  • what i like about Game is he pay dues to legends. dis track is sick.

  • game respect all legends and most of them show respect back

  • RIIIIIIIIIIIPOOOOOOOOOOFFFF

  • @beatlesdylanyes i have to agree. :(

  • @beatlesdylanyes

    huh ?

  • Nice to see this re-released.....not sure about all the shouting stuff over the great music though....

  • Genesis Firth of Fifth! Oh...was there someone talking? ....

  • Using a split sample of good music (the only creative part of this boring , ordinary, same as always, cursing, and false bragging rap), doesn't make this palatable.

  • @Jack1234abc1 Stfu and respect legends like Rae.

  • Tony Banks gettin PAID!

  • I CAN FREESTYEL TO THIS 10 OUT 10 CHANCES NIGGUH GET AT ME WHO WANT TO BATTLE

  • rae the only nigga to get better like a fine wine , dare i say the goat

  • The Game is bi-polar like a muthafucker but when it comes to getting in that studio that nigga GOES HARD! Hurricane Game all day! And Raekwan is just a legend nuff said. This is Hip Hop FUCK YOU!

  • chill beat, great song

  • @Merlijn95 It is a great beat. You can thank a band called Genesis for that, since the guitar solo for one of their songs "Firth of Fifth" is the guitar sampling "beat" used in the background

  • Game's verse is classic like the reebox shoes

  • Wack beat

  • @metalrock90 Totally Agree, and the violinesque guitar done by both Hackett and Howe, is something both Anthony Phillips and Peter Banks respectively pioneered in the early phase of Genesis/Yes! and they made it their own with a more unique style! And of course, Jan Akkerman!

  • All you fake carrot cake ass niggaz. lol rae be going in on these niggaz. Thats that real rap shit. They dont make rap niggaz like that anymore. Niggas like Biggie, Wu-Tang, Tupac, Nas, Snoop and the list goes on.

  • @Lastpoet2k

    Papoose?

    Joel Ortiz ?

  • So you reppin black wall street "Why" aka right. Yo Rae is the illest

  • Watch me layer have gold half major , the other half calls me a hater

  • @pollenbrink142 half goon half mayor the other half call me a hater! Why do people quote lyrics if they aren't sure what the artist said. It makes you look like the biggest poser, what you quoted incorrectly doesn't even make sense

  • @MrExit15

I'm dutch , so I can't understand american 100% . I just wrote what I thought i had listened . You may correct me , but don't call me such names. You don't even know me. I have respect for the music even if I dont know the lyrics 100%. I get the idea of the song . peace out
