Roth is overrated and his writing is either boring or offensive. He achieved fame by provoking a scandal - what a cheap trick. His writing became better (but not great) in the 90s. He is overrated as far as I'm concerned.
Jewish Couric talks with Jewish Roth about a man Jews have demonized. The truth is that Lindburg tried to warn us about the Federal Reserve and the International Jewish bankers. Lindburg was and is a hero. Roth is a treasonous, traiterous psychopath who has attempted to further demonize a great man. Roth is a great enemy of America. He is not smart. He is not a good writer. He is a Jew and he was given carte blanche to publish anything in the Jewnited States.
I'm guessing you are upset that Roth calls Lindbergh (learn to spell, you dope) the anti-semite that he was. Why would that upset you? Since you are obsessed with Jews yourself? I'll tell you why: because you are a fucking twit with the intelligence of a rock.
katie always talks more than the guest. at least in the case of Roth that's absurd: when you talk to someone smarter than you, you usually don't do all the talking.'
poor roth keeps getting interviewed by people who don't read
Love his last comment. Makes me think of one by Henry Miller, something to the effect that a 'writer is what one becomes after he has tried everything else'.
After I wrote "Could Obama run a hardware store"? The "molloyx" comment replied, and yet I was later placed after this comment, not before it. Is someone manipulating this site? If so, how shabby,
Not too long before the Iowa primary pundits from both sides were writing Obama off, citing the impossibility of overcoming the Clinton Machine. She had more money, name recognition, camaign experience and power inside the party. What happened? Obama ran a letter perfect campaign via brains and discipline [ managing a huge, multimillion dollar operation] and THEN slaughtered McCain/Palin by 10,000,000 votes. Not too shabby for a black guy with a funny name.
well it was a good thing that Lindbergh didn't become president.....

No, I think I'll buy the book, Katie and NOT go to your shitty website to read an excerpt.

Phillip Roth's Portnoy's Complaint is one sick book. If that is at all autobiographical then that makes him a sadist of peculiar gravity.

Interviewing a writer about a book you haven't even read. Man, that's amateur hour.

Katie didn't read the book...it's 100% obvious.

I don't need to read an excerpt from NBC's cushy site, full of roses, devil grins, and motel pillows. I have the book sitting beside me.

I love his comments about George Bush. I also love it when Roth puts the interviewer in her place.
Keep up the good work Roth!
