looks stupid and messy.. front end is all squashed and rear looks badly put together.. Id prefer an MT01....though the old VMAX is a classic piece of kit. 15K in the UK.. thats just fucking nuts for a Yamaha

I cant wait to get mine. It's on the show room floor until the end of March. (dealer asked if they could display it) The Busa is a great bike but it's just not a Max. There is nothing on the road that can compare to it. I have three buddies who ride Busa's, even they say "that is bas ass"

18K for a vmax? add tax and delivery and other things and you end up with a 22K plus bike.

yamaha wants you to buy sight unseen, they photoshop the hell and then release it on the internet. the bike is not going to look half as good as the doctored photos that yamaha is releasing.

yamaha is smart releasing a limited number because at that price they won't sell many.

I can get a used 2-3 year old busa for 9K. add some more horsies for about 2-3 grand and kick ass on that new vmax..

Thats the ticket... you look at all these jerks buying POS harlys for 20k then dumping 10-15k into them to make them try to look and run better... This max is a badass right off the floor. And when someone sees you on it, they will know you are 1 of 2499 other riders in amarica on it.
