heard of these guys years ago but only JUST NOW, in my stoned stupor, made the connection between these guys and CAN. sitting here pondering Malcom Mooney and Damo Suzuki.. thought to myself "wasn't there a band called The Mooney Suzuki?" sure enough 1 google-minute later i read that they did in fact get their name from the two singers. groovy stuff

These guys are seriously my favorite of the whole garage rock/punk revival thing going on. They remind me a little bit of the pioneers of garage rock themselves, The Sonics.
