Weird, I called this thing happening in the last episode; with the lack of a true magic origin and type hero akin to Raven or Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl's secret metal mace, I deduced that Zatanna's daughter would show up at some point. But the next episode? Go figure. Maybe they thought it was still too much of a sausage party.

@ninetailedfox79 Yes and no. Zatanna and Zatara are logomancers- their magic is activated by words. So yes, their spells are all just words spoken backwards, but it still takes immense preparations and effort, and they can't be replicated by a random person on the street.
