The Saviour is under and from the Father, obviously, yet He came forth from the Father (John 8:42 and John 16:28), and therefor is fully God in His nature. He is not God the Father, but the eternal Word who is God in nature, and who took on flesh in history (John 1:1,14). In the Hebrew Bible, the Divine Council has God sitting at the head with angels surrounding Him. He is not God the Father, but the eternal Word who is God in nature, and who took on flesh in history (John 1:1,14). He tells us He had glory with the Father before the world was made making Him pre-existant (John 17:5), that He will judge the living and the dead and should be honored even as the Father is honored, meaning however we honor God as such, we should honor Jesus (John 5:22-23), identified Himself as God's Son and recieved worship (John 9:38-40), and tells us that He is of the same being as God, Himself (John 14:6-9).

Now this cannot be the case for Muslim theology since the death/burial/resurrection is rejected. Jesus does everything together with His Father, because He eternally exists because of the Father.

ROFL do you have comprehension issues? I believe the person of Jesus was both God and man, because in the person of Jesus two natures are united in one person. The natures, however, do not intermix, so that the human nature is not divine, and vice verse. Thus, God is not a man, and we worship no man, because worship is directed only to His divine nature.

LOL looks like someone forgot the difference between the Hebrew elohim and Divine Council and the Greek theos. In the Hebrew Bible, the Divine Council has God sitting at the head with angels surrounding Him. In the New Testament, the Father addresses Christ as "theos" and speaks of His ETERNAL THRONE in the same context where the Son addresses the Father as "theos" and speaks of his Eternal Throne.

For the love of all things sacred dude. Did you listen to Shamoun? The Son and the Father are distinct divine persons, one in essence, separate in personhood. Thus, it is fully coherent to suppose that the Father is Jesus' God, and Jesus prays to Him. The Father calls the Son God, Hebrews 1. Before the coming of Messiah, Satan was the Prince of this World. God defeated Satan on the Cross and now is in control, that Jesus now is King of the World.

Go to John 19, when the soldiers arrested Jesus, When Jesus said I AM HE, the soldiers fall back!!! Why did they fall back to the ground. The author of John was writing history according to his theological ideas. The story cannot be historical.

They were in very close proximity to Jesus without knowing it. When He said I am He, it startled them and they fell to the ground trying to move away from Him
