how old are you guys? anyone you know that is of 30++ that plays Nerfs? I'm 28, I have been thinking of getting Nerf weapons but in my country most of the people who are into Nerfs are of very junior age, i would feel kinda akward if I really get the Nerf weapons but couldnt find anyone of my age to play Nerf...

One thing for sure, I gotta admit the Nerf weapons really look cool! Like something out of a Quake/Unreal weapon!

@LunaG Of course! Lol. We have several people who play with nerf well into their 30s and even ones with children. Our associate dean plays and he's...not exactly young lol (grey hair) It's really a matter of how comfortable you are with telling people who want to troll you that they are being assholes for hating something they don't understand. Fun is for the person who makes it, not for those who wish to exploit it.

i attend OSU and last semester over two thousand people signed up for this. I was on a team of people who mostly love paintball and airsoft, led by a marine recruit. So think of it as Katt Williams doing standup on Letterman. He can't really swear, now can he? Same theory behind why we can only use nerf guns. They just aren't safe around those not playing. It's common sense and respect. So go back to your protein, all you little pre-adolescent Napoleon-complex children out there.

If you are too lazy to do that let me inform you and everyone else on here once again that we cannot use airsoft on campus. Most of us play airsoft and paintball as well. But YOU CANNOT get 1000 people of different personalities to play one game 24 hours for 5 days with airsoft. So keep being angsty

not only does HvZ not work for airsoft/paintball because of safety, but also because its not fun. No one wants to get hit by an airsft gun shooting 350-400 fps at pointblank with out having the chance to retaliate. Not to mention that shooting a zombie from 150ft would only reduce the adrenaline you would get from shooting a zombie from a 2-25ft radius. It's amazing what percentage of this world doesn't have common sense.

And your College must be very lenient if they allow you to use Airsoft guns on campus. And no, sensitivity is not the case. I play CQB airsoft (mainly bc that's the only place near by) so I have had my fare share of near point blank shots with high fps airsoft guns. So please, insult me some more if you insist.

dude that looked awesome when like everyone shot a bullet at one point. it looked like archers all firing arrows in medieval movies. were having one in october in springfield. they havent said if we can use guns or not. but we can use anything foam melee. im gonna go with 2 nerf swords. its a duration of 3 days. but you actually have to find a place to sleep and bring your own food. its gonna be cool its a realistic scenario. itll be my first time doing this kind of thing. i cant wait :)

I guess we could sit on our asses playing halo or CoD.. but that doesnt give us the exercise and comradery we want. or we could use airsoft...but not enough people want to use airsoft on campus because of the potential danger to put out a bystanders eye...and we want 600 players for a week so going off campus to play is out of the question. That doesn't seem to = fail to me.
