The only thing that I would change would be the placement of the rim piezo, I would put it inside the drum shell right below the rim, it works just as well and it's not over sensitive, it also doesn't trigger when you hit the head unless you hit it really hard but at that point any double trigger drum will have the same issue.
there is a red lead wire and a black lead wire...when you wire two piezo's together you need to wire them out of faze...red of one to the tip of your trs conector and the black of the other to the ring of the trs conector the other two leads conect to the sleeve of the trs conector...good luck
Basically, he used a stereo type plug to the snare & split the output to two separate plugs (snare & rim sound). My question is, can we buy that RIM edges? It looks like rubber. Also maybe he needs to adjust the sensitivity.
Hello. This stuff is awesome! Could you please tell me how you did that? I mean how did you make your own triggers that can trigger the head sound and rim sound separately? Did you just connect the wires (two black ones and two red ones) of the two triggers (the one on the rim and another one under the head) to the two sides of the output jack? I hope you understand what I mean. Sorry for my English. It would be my honor if you could answer my questions. Thanks a lot.

I got it. The peizo for RIM is located outside. It would've been nice if we can hide that. Anyone can wack & yank it off.
But This is cool.. Neatly done.
