  • You always have great info in these videos! I

  • lol almost said bitch 2:14

  • Nice gills, I catch em that size on average but they are alot more active here in the summer months here. Also catch and release is the way to go nice video guys

  • @tehcomputer not if you really play a fish out and they are going to die anyway.

  • Damn...lol

  • selective harvest is the way to go

  • I fully support catch and release, but the thing is ...i'm hungry

  • this drives me nuts! Give us some ice Michigan weather!!

  • how the hell do u read the flashy thing

  • @lavamanbearpig /watch?v=npMehhwgoRw

  • I love how excited he gets over those small perch.. He should come to Europe, and catch some REAL big perch!

  • Yeah i catch fish all day, and if im hungry, i keep them, and if im not, i save some for the freezer. i fish for food and fun, and im sorry, but your a dumbass if you think there is something wrong with that.

  • northland jig bait's are the number 1 bait for panfishing

  • i lolled at 3:35!!

  • everyone thinks im insane when I say my favorite season is winter, if they saw this they would know why.

  • either i never saw a closeup of one or that second one was huge

  • @kenkenboylmao It's june 25 and i just caught the MN state record bluegill! Where do you fish? Maybe i can offer some advice!

  • He keeps saying that the perch is "acting like a predator", that would be because they are predatory fish, they're not acting. Who ever said pan fish aren't predators obviously doesn't know pan fish.

  • @pinkfoam1 I'm sure these guys know what they were saying.

  • that is sin to throw them gills back DEEP FRY

  • i catch fish all day, all species and i throw everything back..

  • @freshANDhesh Wanna cookie?

  • @freshANDhesh hard to have a fish fry when you throw them all back.

  • Those are some of the biggest gills I've seen

  • damn hardley ever catch sunfish like that in the summer there always small

  • to see him almost say bitch look at 2:12

  • those fish you release whats the chance they will die? anyone know. I release some of my catch and I was just wondering.

  • I'll shit in your mouth if you throw any more perch back over 10 inches.

  • what lake is this? holy crap that is some huge gills!

  • at 3:25 you talk about weeds, there are weeds under the ice? dont they die?

  • are bluegills in the US?

  • @MriBackup went ice fishing yesterday and got bluegills defnatly in usa we have some monsters 14 inchers most are 8- 10 inch

  • @1b2ob3 oh my bad, I meant are perch in the US?

  • Why are they called jumbo perch when they are teeny tiny fish you could use as pike-bait...? Silly species.

  • it's not a perch it's a sunfish that's bluegill

  • whoa look how big that bit....that fish is....lol

  • You should try Bitemaster panfish angling decoys, you will not believe how well they work!!!!!!!!

  • wow dude i catch fish the size of yo pool do come to texas to catch fish and i catch sun perch or sun fish all the time dude wowowwowowow this is lame

  • @MrIAmTheBest13 bud its perch and bluegill fishing their not fishing for big fish read the title no one cares what you can catch

  • @MrIAmTheBest13 but you cant catch them on ice so shut the hell up

  • That bluegill is over 10" easy, beautiful fish

  • thats not even close to a walleye size lure

  • Dude, whole scaled bluegill dipped in egg, then rolled in KRISPY brand Saltine cracker crumbs. Freakin delicious. Heck bluegill by itself is good enough for me. Tasty fish!

  • I'm after this huge bluegill that lives in the pond next to my house. He feeds on spiders and bugs that fall from the branch he hangs out under but he's out of my casting range.

  • Fuck those fat gills had more meat than those skinny perch! Around the racine harbor we get 14-15 inch perch those were just minnows dude!

  • @CtheReal let them fish faggot

  • im a total fisherman

  • are minows a good bait for bluegills

  • yes..small minnows or hatchling size are great. sometimes when fishing for crappie youll catch bluegill. if youre minnows are too small and ure tryhing to catch crappie, bluegill and green sunfish will empty your minnow bucket in no time

  • thnx

  • i believe in catch and release..but im sorry bluegills that big would be on a piece of bread, not back in the lake. ;)

  • @stewwalk i agree! they're so delicious!

  • @stewwalk

    i dont think so

C&R is best thing while fishing

  • i prefer nightcrawlers cut into tiny segments

  • @insectsfairandmoreSA no wax worms or jigs would be good tho

  • Pound for pound bluegill fight harder and are more aggressive than yellow perch.

  • nice bit....nice fish! lol.........

  • Look how big that bit.... that fish is. haha

  • those bluegills are monsters! 5 star vid! good job!

  • he about said look how big that bitch is!

  • Them buegills would be some of the best eating of the year also!!!

  • the ice 55 is the best ice flasher out there. i have the 55 and absolutely love it. ive fished with guys with vexilars and they cant mark fish like mine does. i will out fish a vex 5:1 with my bird.

  • So you can catch your limit faster then? I see no difference because I still can catch my limit too. Private lakes are always better, and at that point who gives a crap what you have. I can dead stick em on the lake I go to with no flasher at all and still put them in the bucket. Timing is key ;-)

  • @ragebowhunter93 riggghhhhttttt....so sick of cocky people..

  • its true tho and i fuckin love your name...polaris all the way baby!

  • those blue gills are beast!

    5 star!

    mike

  • Frisbees with fins ol plenty in the marsh at metro beach on lake st clair...huge pumkin seed sun fish during late spring in the marsh there

  • Comment removed

  • why dont u try shrimp bluegill hate it and perch go fucking crazy for it. Only thing is u might hook on pike or walleye!!!

  • so what do you do if the fish is bigger than the hole your fishing in?

  • Buy a Ice chisel from Jiffy or eskimo. Or u can drill anther hole intersecting the hole the fish is coming out of. But its much better to have a chisel.

  • you wanna catch blue gill, come to mass, all we catch is those stupid ass things!

  • haha

  • i catch those size sunfish all the time on the chowan river in nc.... fun to catch and to eat...

  • thats a weird pole hes useing

  • it is an ice fishing stick not a rod

  • its an ice rod

  • some reason I'm starting to think this is a fake.....

  • dont you guys get bored of catching small fish in america?

  • i don`t catch small fish....well i guess u just suck hahahaha

  • dude those are like 10 - 30 cm long they would be boring as. u can like winch them in with no fight and lol i wont be proud catching them. honestly if u dont think u catch small fish u must be screwd in the head

  • u said u never catch big fish so how do u know how hard they fight?YES,they do fight well on ultra light and 2lb. test, especially in 10 ft. of water. And obviously u don`t know wat a big bluegill is.hahaha

  • wow 10 ft of water thats deep as.. we fish in 300ft of water and catch like 1.5meter gropers in nz takes way more energy than those pidly little things and ur to big for ur boots. u think ur the man because you can catch a few litttle fish

  • obviously u have never caught a large bluegill...maybe u have on 10 lb.test and a med. action...i use 4Lb. line(mono)and ultralight...."a few little fish" try 40...one of the reason bluegill are fun to catch..

  • its not always about catching the biggest fish. if you are fishing for a fish that NORMALLY gets huge, so what. when you catch a species of fish thats not huge and you catch a large trophy size one, its a big deal. Most TRUE anglers would give equal or more props to a trophy fish in a smaller species than a huge fish in a huge species. but i guess you arent a true angler..it shows

  • go ahead and tell ur self that..truth is:i could beat u with a cane pole and a can of worms..u can have ur fishfinder and boat, and graphite rods...

  • i have never used a fish finder, only been in a boat once and own regular rods and reels. you missed the point. Big fish are fine..but catching smaller species can be just as rewarding. especially trophies.

  • lol.....i like that pole there useing its small and cool do u guys know where i can get one of those???

  • where are you in this video?

  • 2:16 he almost says look how big that bitch is lmao

  • HAHAHAHAHA.....I KNOW

  • @mikeandike1327 no he was going to say bluegill

  • I wouldn't mind making some infomercials like that. There used to be place in Dayton, Ohio where you could buy big bluegill like that from a distributor for about $5.00 each. All you have to do is buy about $40.00 worth of those bluegills and you could sell any type of fishing supplies. They were big bluegills just like this video. They also had bass and crappie like you wouldn't believe.

  • my first fish was a bluegill,it was bigger than the one on 4:14,it swallowed the hook so watch out if you are catchhing and realeasing

  • whats the difference between a bluegill and a sunfish

  • lol.......i dont know but i think SUNFISH is yellower then bluegills!!!

  • ok thats what i thought lol but now i know for sure thanks

  • oh..so whats the deferents between those two??!!

  • between what two?

  • blue gills and sunfish??

  • sunfish are more yellow? does that answer your question

  • wtf..i just say that but.........lol..

  • i know but i didnt get the question

  • the name sunfish is the name given to the family of fish which the bluegill is a part of the fish you call a sunfish must have another name like shellcracker or pumpkinseed the largemouth bass and the smallmouth are also sunfish

  • yeah

  • ive seen bigger not saying that there not nicefish :]

  • Those were some nice bluegills!

  • never seen a bluegill that big

  • Those were some biggins.

  • nice bluegill never seen one that big
