The two dislikes to this song could be b/c the music from this song is inspired by a secular song "It Never Rains in Southern California" is a nice song by Tony Toni Tone. They were a great band & i still listen to some of their songs however, one cannot eat from the table of idols & the table of the Lord & this is clearly what is happening. Sacred & secular music should not be intermingled. This could have been a possible stumbling block to some of the singers, musicans & audience members.

You're missing the point if you think that I have an issue with the music itself or the original song. I have an issue w/ ppl thinking that God is not creative enough to inspire songs & melodies of praise. This song cause ppl in that choir & audience to stumble.

God does not take sacrifices that have already been offered up to another god. As I said, you think I have an issue w/ the music & I do not. I have an issue with the CONTEXT of it. LOl I never said the music wasn't jamming. If Christians got together to enjoy one another eat drink & have fun & this music was playing then that is fine. But this music is used in the "service" of the Lord & offered up to him & that is not right. They are responsible for causing ppl in th service to stumble.

@realladylike i'm guessing you must be COC..? if so more power to you. but you have to understand one thing about music, even without accompaniment, "there is nothing new under the sun'. there are only 88 keys on the piano my dear and sooner or later something is going to coincide. and i have news for you, most of the gospel that you probably sing in church was derived from Juke Joint music. i could name a few songs, old hymns mind you that were taken from blues.

God is creative he doesn't need to use what folks in the world have already used to bring glory to himself. If God could give psalms to david & other men of God he can do it now.

Most gospel is derived from juke joint music and folks who sing it some of them are doing it innocently but thes efolks blatantly took that music from the world and used it to try to bring God glory.

Again what is COC? please tell me what that is rather than assuming or guessing that i am

Glory to GOD!!!! I love this song, i always seem to hear it (music choice gospel) when something GREAT is about to happen. It's like he is smilling down on me saying "i will never leave you nor forsake you" GOD bless C. Mass and the person who uploaded this video. Woooo! Thank You Jesus. I was sitting here in front of my computer crying my eyes out. Earlier this evening I asked the Father what do I need to do? I feel somewhat alone. I am married to a drug addicted spouse and it is getting the best of me. The spirit lead me to search A&V.
