On Bob's last show, although Denise did win over $140,000 she DID NOT win both showcases. She won a Corvette playing Lucky 7 and an $80,000+ Cadillac in the Showcase.
well i will add that judy was the 3rd highest winner in TPIR history...which she won $101,244....but the highest winner to date was a lady who won both showcases on the 35th season premiere of TPIR with Bob Barker and she won $147,517....here are the 3 highest total cash and prizes won on TPIR
1. $147,517
2. $140,235
3. $101,244
those are the current standings as of right now...unless its changed in the last 2 weeks...LOL
Hi everybody! Contestant Judy here, WayoshiM, thanks for posting this vid, because I was out of town and wasn't able to catch the episode on TV! Dude, I didn't even hear Drew's explanation of the Secret X. There was a lot going on at the moment, and studio noise. No idea we were playing tic tac toe until late in the game, so just went on audience responses about where to put Xs! The audience totally helped me to lock in Athens! That explains why I was doing such confusing things there! :)
@JudyatAnotherSky Congrats on the big win!! I saw this episode online the day they aired it. I thought you had gone over with your showcase bid. Who knew!?!? LOL!
@JudyatAnotherSky Judy, congrats at being one of my all-time favorite DSW's. I thoroughly enjoy watching these DSW's on TPIR and seeing people win big just makes my day. TPIR needs to bring back all the DSWs from as far back as possible and do like a "Tournament of Champions" thing. That would be exciting!
its a mircle too this girl i think she got her christmas presents early and is this the first time this has ever happend on chirstmas does anybody know?
SHe took some time figuring out where to place her X's, including putting them near the question mark squares, and in the middle row. Seems to be Secret X is almost never won with the Secret X on the bottom, but was on this show. Double Prices apparently was played at Door #3 for the first time since Fall 1999, probably due to it being played right after Pay the Rent. ALso, the third highest daytime TPIR winner occurs on the same day Tom Nissley leaves J! as its third-highest regular game winner
If I was vote to for TPIR's contestants of the week, I'd pick Judy, because not only did she play Secret X really well and win a trip to Athens, but she won both showcases and a bunch of prizes.
What do you think? Does Judy get my vote for TPIR's contestant of the week?
This was just like what happened exactly six years ago, on the last Friday Christmas Eve show. Brooke was a DSW winner, winning $72,750. A Joseph was also on the showcase as the top winner.
wheel of fortune has to get an excellent maingame and the 100k prize tonight to beat price is right today! awesome job you did there, judy! way to go! ^^
She did, and now' she's going to Athens, Oslo and Cancun, and she'll be playing her favorite holiday tunes on and watching the top notch tv shows on CBS on her Ipod, and she'll be cruising across the Pacific Ocean, and baking cookies and driving her new car, and telling her friends about her big day on The Price is Right in grand style.
@WayoshiM There was also one, i think the 25th season premiere where the winner won like $121k, so I think Drew, along with everyone else was wrong, unless that was a nighttime show, and she would be the 4th highest daytime
Imagine she won $100,000 on pay the rent, the big wheel and dsw on TPIR, She will not only be the biggest winner in TPIR history, but the biggest winner in game show history, Daytime.
@bhuang8 If it had been the pre-Season 38 podium, it would have listed "1244" or "01244" but I don't know what it would have written. The screens allowed $101,244 to be listed.
@WhiteHatBobby Her difference would've flashed. It would've showed $120 over and over again. Check out the Season 35 premiere and finale, both prime examples.
if i would both showcases on CHRISTMAS, i'd give drew a big squeeze

While it's great for anyone who is one, why is it that it's extremely rare for men to be a DSW?
