  • Seems no one got hurt? That was a Blessing!

  • they should of gotten generators to melt the snow on the top to create water that slides down the roof

  • Does anyone notice the big gaping hol in the roof of Metrodome ? Prob caused by snow.

  • It looks eerie in there..

  • Who invented the inflatable building anyway? It's a fucking building, not a balloon.

  • Fabric roofs in minnesota? Genius idea wasn't it?

  • i've always wanted an outdoor stadium

  • The owners of the Metrodome should just have the roof removed and make it an outdoor stadum. Football and baseball are two sports that DON'T belong insid domes! The stadium could still be an asset to both the Vikings and city if the roof is removed for good.

  • @imperialscot I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and guess that you're not from Minnesota. Say this when you're at a Vikes game in the Dome freezing your ass off when it's 7 degrees outside. :)

  • @melissarosemorrison Obviously YOU don't know your Vikings history.... They once played OUTSIDE at the old Metropolitan Stadium before 1981! And if YOU watched the BEARS-Vikings game this past Monday night, you would have heard comments about the Vikings owner being in favor of the Vikings playing outdoors again... The size of the crowd at the Gopher hole Monday night would also indicate the fan base wants the same thing!

  • @imperialscot I'm just saying that it gets cold. I live in Minnesota and the last thing I want to do when it's single-digit weather outside is freeze my ass off at a football game. I'll leave that to the dedicated lunatics. And the only comments I heard were complaints from the players having to play outside.

  • haha.... gaping hole.

  • Gotta blame Brad Childress.

  • Yea, Zygi go get 'em. The legislation that is, we want the Vikes to have a new stadium!!!!

  • [Didn't design a stadium to handle snow]

    Stadium is in Minnesota?

    Fail

  • @nagasako7 It was designed to handle snow.. But not 17 inches in less than 24 hours. you fail

  • I think this is gonna be the kicker for a new stadium.

  • i say let em play as is ..thats how real men play football in the elements

  • F*CKING AWESOME!!! THANKS MOTHER NATURE!!!

  • Actually, this is God's way of giving Brett an extra day to heal.

  • Even God doesn't want to see Brett Farve play anymore....

  • @carbomb19 actually Brett farve was injured this week....

  • @carbomb19

Conan O'Brian must watch Youtube. Cause he told this exact joke last night... Or night before last, I can't be sure. I'm sorry, my internal calender doesn't work for crap.

  • Call me crazy, but Inflatable fabric roofs don't seem appropriate. There are 20 Mexican guys standing outside of Home Depot that can build a better roof than that.

  • Lmao I been laughing at this shit all morning...FAIL!!!

  • "Global Warming" at its BEST right al gore???

  • isnt it dangerous for ppl to be in there....

  • You would think that people that design football stadiums in Minnesota would have heard of snow.

  • @clintonearlwalker inflatable roof + poor upkeep+ snow = SMAAAAAASH!

bad bad design for the locale

  • @MrMentalflossed I kinda thought that myself. It seems to me these bubble type roofs have collapsed before. You would think in Minnesota snow would be almost the number 1 priority when designing a roof for a stadium. Oh well, I'm going to go watch some football. Cheers!!

  • @MrMentalflossed Poor upkeep? No. Look it up, it's designed so snow melts off. There was just too much of it at one time, hence the gaping hole.

  • @melissarosemorrison ok so your implying that since that dome was constructed it hasn't snowed more then 22 inches in a single day ??? oh come on ,.. and even if that would be the case ,.. it was a poor design for the area,.. obviously , as it fell apart,.. 1st rule of engineering , build it 5 times stronger then the load you know it will take,.. so what caused it to fall again ,.. snow in min or bad engineering , or perhaps some form of upkeep flaw? doesnt mater FAILED design

  • @MrMentalflossed upkeep flaw thats all i can say.

  • @MrMentalflossed Before providing any more engineering advice, you should check your state's requirements for licensing. I am not a structural engineer, but designing for 5 times the load may be a bit excessive. If everything was designed like that, costs would go through the roof (pun intended)

  • @jr2oz wow you just advised me to look up, what i have already looked up- exactly what the code calls for all load bearing public structures ,.. THANKS for making my point!

  • Reminds me of the Rutgers bubble collapse (it was an inflated bubble and it was subsequently restored, and went back into operation for football practice.)

  • How could this happen to a pro-football stadium? My grandpa's chicken coop...I can understand but this...what exactly is the roof made of? It can't handle snow?

Mind you I'm in Cali so I have no idea about life in the snow...

  • @carbomb19

    It's a fabric tent-roof, it appears.

  • @carbomb19 It's an inflatable fabric roof. I've been there, it's pretty impressive. But this has happened before a couple times, and it's deflated before. A fabric roof can only take so much snow, and over a foot of snow tends to get pretty heavy.

  • @melissarosemorrison yeah it was a poor design choice for the area to say the least,.. out in cali ok ,.. arizona ok ,.. someplace it snows like there , the engineer should be slapped silly for even suggesting it.

  • Saw it on fox and I thought it was a joke at first lol

  • Epic Fail

  • This is obviously all Farve's fault. It would have never happened if he had gone away quietly and spared us the mellodrama (*_~)

  • foxs footage was crazy!you could see people takin off on a little cart as soon as it started

  • cool video from fox is up youtube.com/watch?v=AAyLX2hY7E0

  • that was incredible, should of seen it on fox

  • @thegameison100 i saw it and im like holy shit!!

  • @rustytrombone I'm surprised you could dislodge your fingers from your daughter long enough to formulate a response.

  • You should have seen FOX's footage of the roof going down.

  • @NebraskaFan77 Fox's footage was wild to see, I hope it gets posted up here soon.

  • @NebraskaFan77 yea it was crazy

  • shut the fuck up people, this place was awesome.

now go suck some saint priest cocks and eat a pack of cheese shit.

  • Now it's Tropicana Field North!

  • @WellHiFoLLLks

    LOL!!!

  • Looks fine! Let's go!

  • @sloppiesghost I didn't necessarily mean the roof of the stadium. Maybe the roof of someone's house or place of work. I mean, THAT would be hilarious, wouldn't it? You know, since this is so funny and everything.

Stuff like this is only funny if you're stupid. Then again, if I had to take a guess at which team most of the people that are cheering for this are fans of, the stupidity would come as less of a surprise.

  • @TheGonz17 Comparing homes too stadiums... Those seem to be to different types of structures, for different purposes. Unless, you, live in the stadium?

This would be funny to you, (and I am just assuming) if you were not a diaper wearing glue sniffing Queens fan.

  • they better not move the vikings to LA there shouldnt be4 teams in california....

  • @skizzery

Send all the National Faggot League(NFL) teams to LA, and then fire all the players. That would be awesome!

  • This should cost the team a good $10 million. Wonderful!!!

  • Those of you that are cheering and or laughing about this are nothing short of complete and utter morons. Maybe we'll get lucky and your roof will collapse.

  • @TheGonz17 Lambeau Field has no roof.

  • @TheGonz17 Go wash the sand out of your vag.

  • This place is done, Vikings to LA.

  • glad it happend today and not tomorrow when the players where there.

  • @amandadecoteau

Could you imagine how that would have gone down???

  • @johnu78 I probably wouldve cried (die hard vikes fan)

  • This is SOOOOOO awesome!!!! Bahahaha Go Pack Go!!!

  • @vtown2007

    Preach it brother!

  • wow fox just showed the actual collapse. crazy stuff

  • TAKE THAT MINESOTA GUEX SAINTS

  • @Moderwarfare2addict Psh, remember when New Orleans FLOODED and your field was fucked up? Yeah, I bet you'd have liked it if people made fun of you too... AND you didn't even spell GEAUX the correct creole way, congratulations, you're a complete and TOTAL moron.

  • THIS IS F*CKING AWESOME!!! THANK YOU MOTHER NATURE!!!

  • Wow, we not only have broken quarterback but also a broken stadium........

  • now the vikings and giants are playing at ford field tommorrow

  • just saw same video VJD. incredible video! im trying to find that video version!

  • Yeah, the Viking's are soo poor they paid Brett Farve his money to join the team..... macblack2... idiot.

  • @MrBikerdude34 The city owns that stadium stupid. Not the team. Moron.

  • Thats what your pansy team gets for hiding indoors all season!
