just had the same problem with my 850 after 250 shots. I stripped it down and found fragments of pellets in the trigger housing which was preventing the alloy block from locking into place. i removed the fragments and reassembled the rifle it works perfectly again.
there's a small spring to stop the bolt from rotating when you take it out so you don't loose the hole for the bolt lever but its a hindrance to the gun its not to hard to swivel the bolt into the right position to screw the bold lever back in if you do lose it anyway, the spring is very flimsy and can become crumpled and stretched very easily there for causing jams effectively there's a piece metal in the cocking system take it out immediately before it causes damage to the gun or send it back
@whatdickhead45 be warned if you send it back its more than likely the same thing will happen with the spring again though its just a tiny flaw in the design in the gun was there for convenience but with a lot of things the more you complicate them the more likely they are to go wrong!
Mine have jammed like that 2 times, try screwing out the bolt drag the thing the bolt move with a pen backwards, and then a little spring should pop out. Push it all the way back and close the thing, then screw in the bolt again. :)
maybe if you would stop jurking it around like a maniac... and carefully pressing the bolt forward, it would not jam because you're ramming the thing like an idiot... btw there's a great invention called OIL
I want to buy this gun, but If I'm going to be confined to one Brand of 88g co2, then I'm not sure. They sell 88g co2 at wally world for paint ball guns, if some of these will work, then just maybe it would be worth buying the gun. I know they may a 2X 12g adapter but thats another Ben Franklin. I want to be able to use paintball co2 cantainers. Does anyone know if some brands they sell for paintball at wallyworld, or k-mart will fit???Thanks
I kinda recognize this i had something similair with my airmagnum hunter, I had some pieces of lead inside my breech so it wouldnt cock all the way back but after removing the lead it worked perfectly again, dunno if you had the same...
Oh and 1 advise to all airmagnum owners, if you let someone else shoot with your airgun make sure he/she cocks the bolt al the way back and only cock it back only 1 time.. my friend loaded it 2 times and I had a serious jam :/
@Marijnrobert just some advise: buy a cleaning rodso you can poke it down your air guns barrel so you can clean it, and also take out any pellets that jammed in the barrel. :)
Yea i had this problem because i was given the wrong mag when i bought it and the pellets kept falling out and jamming the mechanism. what i did was find a hard bit of wire and poke around till it fell out. VERY ANNOYING :¬/

i had that to,.. i had to open it up, and take the pellet out of the meganisem.. it was fun to do but took some time. ande euh,..what you are doing there is realy killing the gun XD

these Co2 air rifles need care , get a good cleaning kit , clean it regularly - look after your guns and they wont let you down.

that happened to me 2, i got it fixed by pressing the trigger while dragging that thing back it took about 1 hour until it got fixed automatically

Wind out the trigger adjustment screw, so that the trigger can engage with the hammer. If that doesnt work let me know.

You just don't know how to maintain this gun right. It's not a cheap chinese spring air gun.
