This was a very helpful video. I am looking into using this program instead of using the Spotlight search feature on my mac computer because Spotlight does not transfer the information I input for each photo.
Thanks for introducing me to Bridge and some great features!
I just watched your video on Bridge and Version Cue finally. I've been using Adobe products for years and I never knew what you just showed me. Thanks for sharing your vast knowlege.
I kinda like that Bridge has the dates of the pictures I took, i almost forgot when I took most of my pictures. Its not a program that u really need but if you got some time its a cool program to play with.
I AGREE...i wanted to learn something new, and not be bored on something boring,i donno if i should use bridge now, bcus i wander if its as slow and boring as this guy....i agree tho man
YOU LIING PILE OF RETARDED SHIT !!! 4:22 look at the windows media player icon on the picture, HE SAYS 'you get a preview of everything even the media and movie files' THEN WERE THE FUCK IS THE PREVIEW ???? IDIOT !!!!
I'm a Windows XP user and I have done a lot of customizations on my OS. I am pretty satisfied with my file explorer. I have to say unless you really need a way to organize photos, you don't need Bridge. It's like for music, I need a dedicated software to organize it. For files though, I really don't.
Yeah, I really, really hate to sound like a mac fanboy, but this is probably much less useful to a mac user, as Finder does most of this out of the box (metadata, labels, etc. Honestly, though, Explorer (Windows file navigator) can do most of this, too. That said, the color control and more image manip related tasks are very useful.
I can see how this is helpful in Windows or for photographers. But OS X Leopard has coverflow built in for the movies and just as many file types as Bridge. OS X doesn't have the image flexibility that Bridge has but programs like Aperture do. The only drawback I see with it and windows is that it is a separate program to open before you start to look for something.
And the Adobe Stock Photos is no longer available :-(
I can do the same thing with Acdsee (looks -exactly- the same), or even setting my windows into view as thumbnails mode... then drag and drop the file into the program. Is this for people who can't organize themselves?

@AlexanderrrL If you don't like it then don't use it! Also, why don't you show us your development skills and design a new photoshop interface.

- Adobe Bridge is slower than any other file explorer i ever used
- It takes up gigs for useless previews on your harddrive
- drag&drop works just like that with winexplorer
- All the advantages for Images were available with the Browser included since PS7 already, you barely need Bridge for any other application
- It can't replace the winexplorer making it useless as nobody likes using 2 different file explorers
- Adobe Stockphotos... are you kidding me?

Another alternative to open Bridge in Photoshop CS2 is to go FILE -> BROWSE and that will open bridge also.
