  • Spectacular captures! Magic and magnificent! ..I wonder what the deep dark purple flower is at :23? ~Special moments watching this, thanks!

  • @tubeeorrnottubee Thank you! :) That deep purple flower is a black hollyhock. (Not actually black, of course).

  • Beautiful flowers and insects. It shows love and harmony in the nature.

  • @Flowersfromthegarden Thank you! :-)

  • WT - That is Beautiful. Love it. The music is prefect and you get such a good feeling watching it. Captn'

  • @CaptKelp Thank you!

  • Gorgeous! i love this!

    :-)

I must send this to paintedravensong...she loves bees

    :-)

  • @twish1999 Thank you, Twish. :) How is your garden growing this spring? You had bees in your garden wall last year, as I recall.

  • @WhiteTiger333

I am growing strawberries, mint, garden peas, carrots and potatoes!

I love nature, and the wonder of it all, yes last year we had bees, haven't seen them yet this year though

  • @twish1999 Mmmmm - add a bit of beef and you have meal with dessert! (Tea with pudding?) Haha - when I visited a friend in the UK and she mentioned tea with pudding on the first evening, I thought we were in for a cuppa and some custard. :D Imagine my surprise - and relief - when it turned out to be supper.

  • @WhiteTiger333

Yes i can see how confusing it is because we have breakfast, then dinner at noon and then tea (and pudding) in the early evening!

  • How inviting!

  • Brilliant photography! You sure are good at sneaking up on the flighty butterflies. I love the (what we call) swallowtail butterfly. Some of the flowers had plenty of bees present - they are certainly a great advert for your gardening methods at the centre.

  • @swanscot Thank you. It took a lot of sneaking to get those few moments. Those butterflies are quite flighty. The honeybees with the 'laden' legs are from the Center's own hives, but there are quite a variety of wild bees around. I agree. I think insect life around a garden is a good indicator of its health.
