Buffett in Anguilla

The real question is... is he EVER going to do something like this live concert in Anguilla? Not to sound cheesy, but it would be like a dream come true to see him perform on some little beachfront stage with a few hundred parrot heads of course... I know he obviously can't make a major announcement, as any little island would get pretty much overun if thousands showed up.....any ideas? If anyone knows, or even has a "hunch" please PM me.... TY TY TY :) The secret will be safe w me!!

@oceanbreeze7777 it did happen!! I was walking down the beach in Anguilla when I heard someone playing Jimmy Buffett. I start walking towards it and I see a small group of people standing around a band; which at the time I thought was a cover band. When I got closer I recognized him and stayed and watched him play a few songs. My girlfriend and I at the time are on the dvd that comes with the set. :) so yes... Jimmy Buffett really does stuff like that.

The song is "A salty piece of land" from his novel by the same title. The song is available for purchase on line, but my guess is that it will no doubt appear on a future album.

the song was a single on a CD that came with the hardcover copy of the book... you might still be able to find one.
