@ Guacatechs Do you know how to sort the artist list to individual letters (example: A, B) instead of A-B, C-D? Cause I formatted mine and it messed up that feature. It's the same model: NWZ-E438F, firmware: 1.02 & WM-PORT: 1.0!

i've gone threw 2 of these cuz after time it keeps whacking out and freezing whenever i try to sync more music on it, wtf do i do?? i'm tired of sending it back

the only problem with this walkman is that the fm radio on it sucks!

no, the buttons are of different shapes, some have rectangular buttons while others have round buttons, the screen sizes are also different

Can you create playlists "on the fly?" I've heard it's hard to create playlists on this one.

you cannot create on the fly playlists, but you can use media player, media monkey, and itunes to create playlists. sony routinely updates the plugin that alllows itunes playlists to sync

How to edit album art cuz some do not show up on the player so i wanna change it and for some reason mine sometimes it is laggy in changing songs and always it takes few seconds for album art to appear.

you need to add the art to the tags directly, you can either highlight and paste the art in Itunes, or use mediamonkey to add the art to the tags

depends on what you need, if you want a solidly built flash based mp3 player for a low price , then this is the best one to get. if you are more into hard drive based Ipods, then this would not compete.

its too bad that NOBODY makes a decent belt clip case for it. I found only one belt clip case, and it was a silicon one, which was not what I was looking for, and I'm worried it will tear eventually. I'm disappointed in Sony for not offering anything.
