  • Happy 4th birthday <3

  • I fucking love this fucking damn song !!!

  • god is consciousness and we are all god trying to realize its full potential

  • @Intheflesh44 Woah. Very Hindu/Buddhist philosopy there. Nice.

  • @Intheflesh44 Yes, artist types such as myself are trying to get there and it's a long road. Radiohead is doing well while the Japanese are way ahead of the game.

  • @necrocannibal Actually, Thom is an atheist. Same as me! :D Lmao.

  • @TheDocJayz Actually, most Buddhists are atheist/agnostic. Buddhism has nothing to do with god one way or another.

  • 1:20 to 2:40 is the reason to listen to this (especially 1:55 to 2:40). Those strings approach from the distance and pass through my chest.

  • @sloppyditch panning? They can manipulate it expertly

  • AM I the only one who thinks radiohead b-sides are just as good as the rest?!?!?!

  • Comment removed

  • @elliepell1994 but it makes them feel bad is what I'm saying lol

  • who else thinks of pirates 3 from the title of the song

  • 4:24 <3

  • D I TN U

  • D I

    TN

    U

  • This song is amazing, thumbs down. <3

  • Amazing music in 1:58, i don't know if its Devil's one? i feel i'm going to the Judjement day, where your destiny will be decided !

BTY, where is this beautiful music in "The king of Limbs" ? I only hear Thom moarning nothing else, big deception

  • @sarbool wtf?

  • @musterdsandwich i'm in love with this song, all radiohead's songs, except the king of limbs, i don't know if they were serious when they realesed this record

  • @sarbool i know where youre coming from, its a strange album. It has its highlights though, i mean separator, thats sexiest song of the decade!!

  • @sarbool if u actually listen to thom's music, yes he is depressed BUT he also wants to get into heaven, closer to God. example songs : where i end and you begin, and videotape.

thom was always mourning but arent we all? i see no problem with it

  • @cressnaar

In a an interview Thom says he is non religious but dabbled in Buddhism a tad and thinks it has the most merit of all religions and Buddhists dont believe in a deity.

  • The lyrics to this particular song... Does anyone know the true meaning?

  • Fyi, Jonny's on the drums

  • anyone else really like the passage that starts at 3:33?

  • the in rainbows b-sides are amazing!

  • Amazing noise at 4:24

  • wow you all are so original

  • 14 people took the lyrics literally 'down is the new up'

  • @GILZO94YFSR triumph

  • @GILZO94YFSR best "dislike" comment ever. these are usually un-original shitty comments.

  • @GILZO94YFSR The cleverest one of these types of comments I've seen.

  • @GILZO94YFSR The only clever "(insert number of dislikes here) are _____" I've ever seen :)

  • @GILZO94YFSR Does that mean 133 people really hate your comment.. so far?

  • @GILZO94YFSR Hahahahah

  • @GILZO94YFSR Finally one of those dislike comments that's worth it.

  • @Ronducular Clever as balls

  • @graysonbreeden Balls are not very clever, they just hang there.

  • @exbklynbabe biding their time...waiting for the chance to smash you in the face!

  • I love this song SSSOOOOOOO much but this version is just not right. There's just too many layers of noise or something. The live version and the "live from the basement" version are way way better in my honest opinion. To tell you the truth, I'm surprised they released it. I am definately one of the biggest radiohead fan ever to exist, but I'm a little let down by this =( Oh well, nobodies perfect =)

  • @monvoix1

    ...cunt.

And before you start thinking of a come back, chill the fuck out i'm kidding.

  • @vivalanima

lol no worries friend. I'm quite calm.

  • @vivalanima

You know what though, upon second listen, it's not as bad as I remember lol. I still don't think its as good as the live versions though. Just too many layers of synth to detract from the cynical, almost comically dark atmosphere for me =( I love this song either way!

  • @monvoix1 I like the layers of synth. :)

  • 11 people think up is the new down

  • @thesmokingpope HOLY BALLS! I didn't think of that since the song is down is the new up everyone should giv it a thumbs down!

  • one of radiohead's mantras is "Whatever worked last time, never do it again"

  • @fruitypeebils True words of wisdom.

  • @fruitypeebils makes you think what their next job gonna be

  • I have a 20 minute version...

  • Comment removed

  • @Lafayettebluesman i completely agree with you =)

  • I'm reminded my soul exists around 1:55

  • i fucking love radiohead.i just personally do not like there song creep for some reason.i just dont like the way it sounds.but i love all of there albums after pablo honey. <3

  • @MegaCheese48 they really changed their sound after pablo honey, I personally don't really like it either, but radiohead in general is absolutely amazing.

  • ladies and gentlemen without a safety net

  • radioheads first attempt at portishead maybe?? i love it !

  • @mowgli123456789 Radiohead and Portishead. That's a combination I'd like to see. :)

  • That would be EPIC.

"The Rip", with Thom and Jonny. Check it out.

  • It's all got Radiohead magic in it. Somewhere, deep inside the song, there's a spark, and it clicks with you.

  • i think i prefer the in rainbows b-sides to the amnesiac b-sides

i never thought i'd be able to say that

  • Radiohead are taking music to whole new level.

  • I love Radiohead but this is far from their best in my opinion

It's still an ok song but I'm glad it was left off the main cd of In Rainbows

  • I cannot wait for their next album, Ill buy 10 of them just to support them.

  • They should just re-release this cd as a 2-disc set and it will solve everyone's complaints, after three years. Besides, what better than making the fans happy?

  • oh, and thanks for posting.

  • how about commenting on your own lives?

  • 4:22 really fucking good

  • 4:22 stone and genius

  • i think, there's a company of evil dwarfs, who's mission is push the "dislike" button every time, when new robotplant music is coming up in the youtube.

  • This song sounds as if it were written within a ten minute time span.

  • When I hear this melody I feel as if I just signed a contract with the devil, it's such a deviantly twisted melody. I love it.

  • @Laroling same!

  • Damn, no one better.

  • How did Bodysnatchers make the cut and not this? This should have been track 2 on In Rainbows.

  • @FatAlbert969 agreed. bodysnatchers is good, but this is better.

  • This is slower than mine?

  • This is Radiohead's idea of a B-Side people. That's how good they are. They literally have more good songs than they know what to do with.

  • Yeah everybody who likes this video should rate it thumbs down, seeing as according to Thom & Friends down is up and up is down all of a sudden

  • If you open up your heart and mind to the song Creep, Within the 1st or 2nd time of the song, You will start loving it and getting the meaning.

  • radiohead keeps getting better and better etc

  • What is wrong with all of you? Why is there a discussion about Creep going on for a youtube video of Down is the New Up? Think about how ridiculous you all sound.

  • thumbs down. but only because down is the new up. :)

  • @macnchizzle4shizzle Gave you thumbs down because I like the comment :).

  • I really, really like this song. It's great, the chord changes really display mixed emotions, which Radiohead know how to do best.

  • this song is weckehhd

  • Thom wrote Creep as a joke..

  • I like this song :D

  • Depression is the new happiness.....

  • @1964go It really is.

  • sounds like an in rainbows version of we suck young blood

  • @Mcshitlove I thought it sounded a bit like another one, but I couldn't think which, it does sound like we suck young blood now you mention it

  • Kinda reminds me of A Punch Up At A Wedding for some reason.

  • In Rainbows is amazing

    Thank god for Radiohead

cant wait for the next installment of godlike music from the lads

  • Who gives a shit about pop culture, the majority of the population is a bunch of idiots, which is why people like Lady GaGa are famous, Creep isn't their best song by a long shot, regardless of how popular it is.

  • sounds like an 'In Rainbows' version of a 'Hail to the thief song'

  • i went hiking during a lightning storm last night... and at the top of the mountain i was listening to this song.. and it fit perfectly with everything i saw ( lots of rain, lightning, and fog...)

  • brilliant

  • let us analyze the meaning of "pop culture". taken purely as a historical reference point, its meaning is peripheral and uninteresting. taken instead as an indication of the contents of the "collective heart of humanity", "pop culture" can be highly important and worth valuing. if the latter definition is adopted, the claim that creep is actually their best song becomes more valid. time will tell...as it stands, IMO creep is one of their best, but paranoid android is the best song of the 90's

  • It gets better everytime I hear it.

  • This track doesn't seem to have the spatial quality that the rest of the album has. A pity, because I love this song.

As it is, I prefer Thom's version from the Basement.

  • few tracks on disc 2 shouldve been on the album.

  • It's not that I don't like Pablo Honey, I think it's pretty good, I just like their other stuff better 'sall

  • i have another version of this song in my ipod... that one is pretty annoying.. this one is just perfect..

  • Let's settle this argument. The only good songs on Pablo Honey are You and Blow Out.

Everything post Pablo Honey is fucking mindblowing though. Especially Kid A and Amnesiac.

  • "The only good songs on Pablo Honey are You and Blow Out"

    Art fag.

  • Oh, again, a brilliant, sophisticated comment from a YouTube user. It sounds generic and cliché, and I hate saying it, but so much music is SO pretentious and shit. I like the idea of being an art fag. I'm picky about music, anything wrong with that?

  • Spare us the pseudo-intellectual, would-be elitist garbage.

  • Haha, so, because I don't share the same opinions as you, I'm pseudo-intellectual and elitist? To be fair, you're acting more pretentious than I am. I basically said I don't like the majority of the songs on Pablo Honey. But, in your eyes, I don't dislike the songs because of my taste, but because I want to be cool and different. Right? You're having a hissy fit because I just stated my opinion on YouTube.

I still don't see the problem.

  • Don't do this to yourself.

  • Oh yeah, shit, I'm making an embarrassment of myself...

  • yeah i agree just your taste of music doesnt match with others it doesnt make you a intelectual but creep is really great you know not because its ppular its just very beautiful just my opinion

  • Give over. It's an opinion.

  • what about "thinking of you"?i agree though,my 2 favorites are you and blow out

  • wow.

  • last minute or so of this song destroys me.

  • It's funny how all you underground wannabes hate Creep just because it became popular, and popular isn't cool.

Radiohead has a lot of great songs INCLUDING Creep.

  • Indeed.

  • @Zedetnik I can't say I really like Creep or much of the Bends at this point. They were good at the time but feel dated and a bit frat-rock like. Radiohead took off with OK computer and never looked back.

  • @scoutinternational much aggreement

  • Creep's their best song. Sure, Pablo Honey is probably their worst record, but no Radiohead song had the same impact on popular culture as Creep. I've heard it live once, and the reaction for it was about five times as loud as the second biggest cheer of the night, which was for Paranoid Android. Oh yea... and the pseudo-intellectual art fags were cheering too.

  • The impact of Creep on popular culture doesn't make it Radiohead's best song.

What's with the whole pedestal idea anyway? Pablo Honey wasn't exactly a brilliant, original album. Look at the other albums Radiohead released. I see no problem in liking the more creative ones and disliking the average one.

  • Claiming a song is a band's best song because it has had an enormous impact on pop culture is a little bit "pseudo-intellectual", wouldn't you agree?

  • Claiming a song sucks just because it was the popular one is pretty "pseudo-intellectual" too.

Sometimes listening to music doesn't have to be "intellectual". Sometimes we can just listen to music to enjoy it.

  • Totally!

  • @GforceProdComp I love everything radiohead does. I'm not a fan of pablo honey, but creep is still a great fuckin song regardless.

  • @GforceProdComp alright you need to understand something, every radiohead fan should hate the song creep. even they themselves, the ones that wrote the song, hate it. its why they wrote 'my iron lung', a song dedicated to how much they hate that one song.

  • @MichaelMalice666 You need to understand something. "My Iron Lung" isn't about how they hate the song "Creep". They didn't write it because they hate the song; they wrote it because they hated the pressures that came with the crazy popularity of the song, including the fact that a lot of the fans of that song didn't really get them.

They never said they actually hate the song itself.

  • @GforceProdComp i wouldn't say that i hate Creep, not saying i'm a underground wannabe. it's just the fact that a lot of people know Radiohead because of Creep (that's how i first fell in love with their music), but on the flip side, some people just know the one song and that's it. And Creep is definitely not Radiohead's best song, not by a long shot.

  • @GforceProdComp excellent statement- I had never heard Radiohead until Creep was on MTV back in the day- I remember thinking holy shit what a cool sounding song -almost Nirvana esque...

The song Creep opened my eyes to this upstart band from across the pond. Creep is their early anthem ...who cares if it became super pop(ular). Creep is still a ripping song and will always be just exactly that.

  • @Shreds1620 Amen, first Radiohead song I ever heard.

  • @Shreds1620 too bad creep isnt completely a radiohead song.

  • @2323jgrant how is a song that Radiohead wrote and performed not theirs? Even if it differs in style it is theirs.

  • @veryhighsamurai heheh. the songwriting is credited to radiohead AND Hammond & Hazlewood of the Hollies. The song if not a rip-off of The Air That I Breath, is a rehash of it.

  • @GforceProdComp well. i dont care for creep not because it was popular.. but because it was essentially NOT A RADIOHEAD SONG :P

  • @GforceProdComp Any person who equates Radiohead with Creep is useless at Maths.

  • @rhetoricalparadox Lol. If you equate my comment with equating Radiohead with Creep, then you must be pretty "useless at Maths", too. ;)

Personally, I wish you could equate Radiohead with Creep.

  • stop talking about creep. when someone mentions it just ignore it

  • AWESOME!

  • yeah! All radiohead songs are better than creep! Completely agree! Paranoid Android is my nominee for the best radiohead song. Or perhaps 15 step. Or jigsaw falling into place or 2+2=5 or I might be wrong or the national anthem or everything in its... a well... I could go on forever.

  • Because that money goes directly to Radiohead, without an intermediary.

  • @Zedetnik and radiohead desperately needs money

  • You desperately want attention, but who's judging?

  • @Zedetnik ouch. I agree that artist deserve compensation, but 6 pounds for 8 songs is a lot, especially for download only.

  • @Zedetnik looks to be the other way...seems to me like you want the attention, woah 45 likes damn man, good job, STFU,tune in, drop out, get down and enjoy

  • Comment removed

  • @CoozyMcMillan yeaa radiohead needs money, you fucking stupid kid you. they are good.

  • annnnd, you get awesome sound quality if you buy the CD.

  • @Pinesol23 because on youtube you get extremely shitty quality such as in this video

  • never ever be critical with radiohead....genius band

  • I love you.

  • the 00s blended rock and electronic music....

for example: radiohead, bloc party.... etc.

just see how important electronic sounds became on music.... in pop music it's lady gaga and stuff. everything's got to be electronic these days..... kinda funny but in my opinion it's quite an exciting direction music's movin into..... these sounds hold a lot of opportunities for experiments that you just don'T have in conservative music....

  • i like the other version better

  • this cd is the best !! incluide Ok computer!!!

  • Thank you, Zedetnik, you're a legend for uploading all this.

  • You're welcome.
