They used to require 1000 subscribers for partnership, but they're a lot looser about it now, I got partnered with 100 subscribers a couple of months ago. If you often way outperform your subscriber base they may let you in anyway.

May I make a suggestion? I noticed you show to screen savers on your monitor. It looks cool, but very distracting. I realize that I am paying more attention to them then your video. (mainly because it is the most active from everything else.)

If you're already subscribed to someone who has an intro then you just end up skipping through it everytime and it's really annoying. As you say they are just there to try and wow new potential subscribers.

The more i watch your videos the more I realize they are just an advertisment for you " gnomies " website which you must subscribe which costs WAY more than a magazine subscription and a subscription to WoW combined. Its a disapointment. Unsubscribed.

I would upload videos every day if I could but I can't because it takes 6 hours to upload a video! And I don't have that much patients or time to do that!!!! So how do you have enough time to upload so many videos in 1 day?!!!!!!

Intros are a waste of time on both youtube and TV shows! Wouldn't it be nice to watch your favorite TV show with out the intro, it's just something that you get sick of quickly and it's a waste of 45 seconds!!!

you dont need 1,000 subs to become a youtube partner. if your vids are bringing in alot of views you will be asked if you want to monitize. After about 2 weeks I applied for a youtube partnership and I got it. I have 887 subs and I am thankful for that

You don't actually need 1,000 subscribers to become a partner. I became a partner with just 100 subscribers and I'm still a partner with just a little over 500 subscribers.

Most likely some 1-2 seconds.

Not like 5 minutes long, where the intro consists 80% of the entire video...

you sound over confident of what you say...watch out you need refine the way you talk and move your arms and please stop touching your nosing as if you are a big thinker. tell me one thing why you do not salute your subscribers in the opening of you videos , no hi or hello you jumpin straight into the video. that annoys many people

German youtube user can see the live stream. why easy awnser GEMA/GVL but I have a good tool for you, then you use proxytube cann see all video on youtube.

It doesn't matter how many subscribers you have. I only had 200 when I got YouTube partnership. I got it because of the high quality of videos and the amount of viewers.

i wish your clips could be shorter... I wouldn't mind if you edited them first. I like your content and style, but I'm just always on the run so I want to get as much information as I can in the shortest amount of time possible.

Intro's and Outro's are over used and in some cases, longer than the video itself.

Also, Chris talks a lot about how dislikes are not helpful because they don't provide any information about what the viewer disliked. However, the same could be said for likes. Ok, you liked the video... what did you like about the video? Maybe you liked some parts of the video, but not others. In which case, how are you supposed to rate that?
