Another poignant and moving video, Ken. I can identify with a lot of what you're feeling. I always felt like no matter what I did, it was never quite enough. Do parents ever really know their children? When you really get down to the barest of bones, is it even a possibility? My parents and I were so very different. I can safely say that they never knew the real me. And yet, being as different as we were, I have many of their traits, including some I could have done without. Stay strong. Hugs
Sometimes our parents never see us as grown ups. They still see us as those little kids. Don't regret anything in your life Ken. All those things have made you into the MAN you are today. You are special, in many ways. I think your dad knows the man you have become, he too lives with his own self doubts and knows where he lacked with you. The Lord knew you before you were born.
