  • do all mother boards come with mother board stand offs

  • @sillyrabbitman8 the good ones do. my asus motherboard came with some standoffs.

  • @orangeluva56 ok thanks

  • @sillyrabbitman8 I'm pretty sure the case came with the stand offs

  • I'd have more fun building it than playing games on it. lol

  • Is it cheaper to just build your own computer?

  • @Keitaro2011 No not at all! Well if you get it off of eBay MAYBE but buying a new PC is slower than a custom.

  • @StupidSpawn Oh. Because, I'm getting really sick of dealing with Indian tech support always trying to sell me lifetime computer repair plans and never following through.

  • oh god I..........

    JIZZ IN MY PANTS

  • PRINTER PORT.

  • lol at 6:19 I thought you cracked the motherboard

  • Badass keyboard?

  • and a pen.

  • How much did this cost total?

  • Is it cheaper to build a gaming PC, or to just buy one of those cheap ones for $900?

  • @FPDood Definitely cheaper to build your own. The level of customization, along with combination of different hardware and future prospects of upgrading make it all worth it :).

  • @azntallie101 Ok, but do you know a good site where I could buy cases, RAM, and all the other parts I need to build my computer?

  • @azntallie101 There are sites online, I usually check out NCIX and newegg. If you're Canadian I can suggest some stores as well. If you need help just shoot me a PM.

  • @FPDood it's better to build your own gaming pc, because there are a ton of selections for you to choose from, and you can choose what motherboard,RAM, video card, etc. you want. And it makes you learn more about computers. :D

  • @FPDood It's extremely cheaper to build one just because you can always .. fit it to your need with performance and you can fit it to a even a budget of say $500-$800. (A decent one not super high end of course)

  • What brand and model is that anti static wrist ?????????

  • this is so lame compared to the type of stuff they build now on the show.

  • And a pen...

  • lol pc porn

    i's like gun porn

  • Wow, I didn't realize that the CPU was such a small component.

  • @Judahmangi You said it ! I was like WTF when he had CPU in his hand. I thought it would be very big component. Funny :P

  • @Qkaks @Judahmangi seriously ? you guys didn't knew that before ?

  • I'm writing it on my paper :)

  • will it screw anything up if i use a magnetic screw driver?

  • @MrKyle080906 no its acutlly recomendend

  • @MrDullmop ok thanks

  • what sort of business calls them self newegg

  • @jacobthriller1982 a super succesful and really good electrnics company

  • @jacobthriller1982 The best computer component distributor ever =D

  • @jacobthriller1982

Back in the day they used to be called Egghead software, and their mascot was a cartoon Einstein, brick and motor retail. So upon relaunch as an online entity rename themselves. Sure its lazy, but market forces would dictate someway of preserving their old customer base while simultaneously being able to inform them their business had changed. Call it being caught in the wringer of brand identity.

  • @jacobthriller1982 This business?

  • @jacobthriller1982 newegg was created by a tawinness immigrant. Egg stand for unlimted potential so they called then self the New Egg

  • @jacobthriller1982 a new company that does the same business in new ways

  • @jacobthriller1982 This business.

  • @jacobthriller1982 idk not "old" egg?

  • @jacobthriller1982 its easy to remember so then people can go to the site by remembering newegg

  • @jacobthriller1982 EGGS ARE F***ING AWESOME, THAT'S WHY! :3

  • @jacobthriller1982 a freakin' awesome company! and yes I realize that you posted this a while ago.

  • @jacobthriller1982 a good one

  • Do the standoff come with the cases?

  • @FEENPC yes

  • @Revanchist8525 Sweet, thanks.

  • @FEENPC they should most newer cases come with them

  • Turkey p0rn

  • paul is a fucking g6 :P

  • damn that beat is bumpin.

  • Do the stand offs come with the case or mob? Thanks

  • @gethpwnz3r Well honestly, in terms of actual budget to performance ratio, the AMD 955 X4 is probably a smarter purchase than the X6, with Bulldozer coming soon.

  • How would an HD 6870 ATI 1GB work with AMD x6 Phenom 1100T at 3.3Ghz? Sorry don't know where else to ask!

  • @gethpwnz3r

    they'd be sweet

  • @gethpwnz3r Would work like a charm, but I'd recommend the i5 2400 or 2500k instead for your CPU.

  • @firefeature I was thinking of getting an i5, but I really needed to save money so I went for the six core processor.

  • @gethpwnz3r just fine

  • Could someone let me know if a rig with a GTX 560 Ti and an AMD Phenom II X4 840 will run well on an Antec 520w PSU?

  • @TABLEstairs It should be OK, but if you want to do any more than very modest overclocking, I'd recommend getting at least 650W. For SLI, get an 800W. Hope this helps!

  • @MegaMnguyen CoolerMaster Elite series, all fit AM3 :)

  • @MegaMnguyen the AMD Phenom is a AM3 socket, so check if the h250 is an am3 if it is your good. if its not it wont work.

  • A good Gaming pc would be 1145 at ibuypower

  • can you tell me more about the Antistatic wrist strap?

  • @basicgrounds Basically if you have been around carpets, rugs and soft textures like that you will pick up static electricity (Look up Static electricity on google if you dont know what it is) throughout your body. If you touch someone else you will shock them a bit with static, its the same thing with PC Parts.. Except the charge can get into the chipest of the part and blow it making it useless.. That anti static wrist band is wired/grounded to anything metal to stop the static going to the PC

  • how much will all that cost ? over 1,000 dollars ?

  • @wxpizzzy i wouldnt guess over 500

  • Isnt it better when you mount the CPU before mounting the MOBO to Case?

  • @BoonTheNoob96 Alien Crash site ;)

  • do you have to buy standoffs separately?

  • @BoonTheNoob96 it wasn't invented that way.

  • do most motherboards come with the standoffs or does that come separate?

  • @1republican Standoffs should come with your CASE. At least it should.

  • is there a version of this case that comes with a blue LED front fan instead of a red one?

  • @BoonTheNoob96 it started off as a digital typewriter, and i find this difficult to masturbate to.

  • so what is a GPU you were on about?

  • FUCK, I FRIED MY MOTHERBOARD WHEN I WAS TRYING TO MAKE THIS PC!!!!!

  • @OwnageGamers Were u not grounded?

  • @eliteslyer Im 19. Lol

  • @OwnageGamers No i meant did u not ground urself to a metal object.

  • @BoonTheNoob96 Go look up the ENIAC. Should be a good Wikipedia article.

  • thanks god newegg is here.

  • PLEASE HELP!!!! If I live outside the US (in Mexico) but have an aunt that lives in Texas, could I pay with cash with a money order (send her the money so she mails it to newegg with all the info required)?? And if so do I still need an american credit card??

  • where would you recommend buying the processor and motherboard i want intel brand

  • @uraniumHD newegg if ur in the us, in the uk i would go oc uk or amazon

  • Awesome tutorial... ty!!! ;D

  • @BoonTheNoob96 they just started by making a calculating machine and added features as time passed by ;D

  • @coolcoollo ok thanks

  • @BoonTheNoob96 they were tired of having to calculate on theyr own (it hurts in the brain) so they made a three story big machine that could calculate from 1-9 and thats only + and -

  • short pause... "and a pen" (poor pens, always underrated)

  • @BoonTheNoob96 psssssssssssst ~~alien technology~~

     =P

  • do recomond this case for a first build? If not please give name of amazing cas that cost less than $175. Thank you

  • My only tool are my hands..

I dont really need all that stuf

  • and what could be the cost of a regular gaming com?

  • the cpu must be compatible with the motherboard or i can put any kind of cpu in any kind of motherboard

  • @VeteranSlayer It MUST be compatible.

  • @VeteranSlayer You have to have compatible socket types. You can't put a square into a round hole is my vague example. For instance i2500k cpu's must be inserted in 1155 or 1156 compatible MOBOs.

  • My PC has a floppy drive the discs are still floppy!! i play oregon trail!! HA

  • HELP! i need a socket 7 motherboard I CANT FIND ANY HHEELLP

  • @datafreak667 socket 775?

  • @shiveringstar21 no socket 7 from 20 years ago

  • @BoonTheNoob96 tecnically a computer is a machine that can be programmed to do different tasks depending on the programming. Its doesn't have to be virtual.

  • I know how to build a pc but this tut is very good

  • I didnt get it at all!

you said that we should use "Motherboard standoffs" because they are conductive...

but, its conductive! it will pass electric! i dont want to get electric shock while touching my case, and why we need electric field between the case and the motherboard?!?!?!?!

  • @JackPotXcOre it will ground it, meaning it is like a "surge protector" I think

  • @BoonTheNoob96 little by little my friend!

  • Can I ask you something? how much was the total cost of everything

  • lol that 3850 is such a bottleneck for a quad core

  • and a pen...
