if that doesnt work, search how to fix 'bricked iphone'

@izzarshah what you need to do is run cydia again and just check "install cydia" on redsn0w and nothing else. it should run the reinstallation and the icon will not be white anymore but the real icon and you will have cydia. i just did this yesterday with my ipod 4th gen running on 4.2.1

@jsrf tethered and untethered only applies when you jailbreak your device.....if it is a tethered jailbreak u must run the jailbreak software everytime your device needs a restart or if it turns off.....untethered means it can restart w/o the software and turn on w/o the software...........thumbs up so everyone can see
