I live in a small town and in reality, no one gives a crap about my gothy weirdness. 181 people, mostly old people and/or very religious people but pretty much everyone is super nice. Of course, I've been to those hate filled small towns. Pretty sure they were inbreeding colonies....

I'm telling you this guy is NOT bright) first started searching for my country songs so "she" could write a negative comment on all of them (who has this kind of free time?) , "her" only 3 friends were Mark Sinnis, his band and his "record label" (see: a box of CDs in his living room). Now she's removed all of those. I'm telling you it's a classic sh*t head move.

I did hear of that band. In fact, I recorded a song with them a million years ago. So if I'm ripping them off, why did I wait so long to do it? Am I a really slow learner? or maybe just maybe, did I have an epiphany that it was time to make an old time country record. You know, a smart person would say, "thank God other people have seen the light! Let me reach out to them and let's really build a community that supports each other". Or. I guess you can just fling poo.

I didn't hear Voltaire claim to have invented the genre, at least not in this video. In fact he said "I guess it's what they call alt-country" - which seems to imply he knows of the genre's existence, but is not TOO familiar with it.
