The thing is I grew up in Abu Dhabi for most of my life and I can honestly say that the majority of people there don't learn thoroughly what they need to know when it comes down to driving.... they have no common respect for fellow drivers (like this guy: driving in the fog fast enough to cause a collission to this extent)...and not having the common courtesy to understand that real driving isn't about racing or going fast enough to show off your new ride...but protecting yourself & others.
The same is true in a lot of places. Most people here in the states don't seem to have a clue of the destructive potential of the tonne of metal that is their vehicle hurtling down the road. They're far too jaded about it, and see nothing wrong with paying only casual attention to the road, and what's going on around them.
