I'm a bit scared to boil the resin until its watery, is it possible to mix it and then hit it with heat at the end? will that help with the bubbles too?
Thanks for this great video, by far the best i have seen.
I'm curious to know, why do you use latex for the mould? It looks very flimsy and like it won't last long? I know many others use things like amazing mould putty which seems to be a bit more durable. However, i'm looking for the cheapest option, as i'm on a budget, and if latex is durable, it sounds like a good alternative.
I don't personally know of liquid plastic in clear. I've used liquid plastic before that's white and opaque.. it will cure that color as far as I know. you just paint on top of liquid plastic.
clear epoxy resin is clear, and you can color it with special resin dyes!
cool, I understand. but I'm thinking, you upload pt 1 w/out any error, so maybe you can do pt 2 the same. and of course if its too long, then I guess you would need to cut it into two pts. like make it a pt 2 and 3. keep me posted as soon as it work out. Again, thanks for sharing.
I bought some EasyCast but I'm confused about how long it takes before you can remove your cast from the mold. One set of instructions I have says 24 hours! Yikes.
Yep! I don't touch mine for about 24 hours. Otherwise it will turn out sticky half the time. If yours isn't hardening as fast as you like, you could try changing around the amount of hardener.. add more in and see if it helps.. but beware because that can be dangerous for the quality of your cast
Thanks. I guess 24 hrs was right after all. Can you please tell me... if you follow the directions how well does Easy Cast self debubble? Do you still get bubbles or can you really achieve perfectly clear, bubble free castings?
I would suggest that you try to scoop out the bubbles that you see when you pour it into the mold.. it will help it be more clear than just letting it settle by itself
Thanks. I've been trying to make perfectly clear blocks to use with clear rubber stamps. If you buy the blocks at the craft store they are a serious rip off. It's because they are cut from giant sheets of clear acrylic and that is very expensive I guess. Thanks for your help.

@crimsonxxkiss you don't boil the resin, you boil water, and put the bottles of resin in the water and stir them around for a little bit.

I keep trying to upload it and it tells me an error occurs! So I gotta figure out how to cut it into more than one part and then maybe it will work.
