  • 2:01 This is such phenomenal playing that the piano is SMOKING! lol LOVE it!

  • Highest Regards............keep up the good work

  • Beethoven is my favorite composer of classical music! Your presentation is very impressive, expressive and virtuosic!! Thank you very much

  • i assume the 2 dislikes are people who think can do it better.

shows how unsophisticated the world is when something like this has 26k views

  • @thelastdan85 - Those who hit the dislike button are either jealous, or deaf...

  • beautiful piano, beautiful playing

  • excellent pianist

  • Very fluent, precise, and absolutley powerful!!

  • Striking and powerful playing. Wakes you UP! Very amazing!

  • Oh, I'm sorry -- may I also add your interpretation is very beautifully done =) I like your choice of adding the C in the beginning trills (on the score, I think it says it's an "optional" thing you can do), as well as the later trills. Your clarity is also astounding! =D

  • Having listened to the Appassionata about a million times, (VL's rendition, I'm a huge fan of hers) I realize it's "about" a great many things -- however, a prominent feeling I get from it is that it's partly about the appreciation of little, simple sounds. (And later on, the resulting frustration of not being able to, perhaps.) Almost like the little tweets of birds -- particularly at the passage at :57. It makes sense to me, giving Beethoven's almost-total deafness at the time ^_^

  • The most amazing fingers to have ever played the piano in the 21st Century. I mean what else can I say? Without Mr. Erez' superb interpretations, how could we ever appreciate the greatest composers who ever lived?

  • CGI meets the piano. Yea. Cool. Great. Ummmm Yea. OK.

  • this guy is quickly becoming my favorite, he seems to me to be a technical monster

  • Great piano - stunning bass, great recording, and great playing - intense, riveting, and as someone said below, smok'n. I have to say though, the video gimmicks are silly. It's foolish to think that a few computer video tricks can measure of to a work of art like this by by a genius like Beethovan - - it only makes it seem amateur.

  • I'm drawn to this video like a magnet. Not only is he an absolutely brilliant pianist, but look how sharp the picture is. The Bosendorfer looks so polished, and the base is so deep, while the treble sings so beautifully. And Mr. Erez is playing it with so much power that it is SMOKING! 2:03 I love absolutely EVERYTHING about this video. It's one of my favorites. Wow!

  • I wish I had such beautiful piano fingers. My fingers could never do this...

You are a very fortunate to have the piano in your life to enjoy, and entertain. You are the most amazing pianist I've ever witnessed Being exposed to classical piano virtually all my life and wanting to play as a small child, I've been to many concerts by renowned artists. So I'm pretty attuned to piano classical music and you're the absolute best...

  • Magnifique et le son de ce piano est véritablement époustouflant.

  • Blimey, did you design the background animations by yourself? No matter what, the animations were freaking awesome, you're the man. In this movement its seems to me as if he is confused whether to be happy or angry.

  • :O holy crap

  • ESA CANCION LA TOCA MARIA!! EN CHOJUN SENTAI JETMAN ,. LA AMO,. MUCHAS GRACIAS

  • There's nothing like the thundering base of a Bosendorfer. Why more people don't play this lovely instrument is beyond my wildest imagination. Just LISTEN to it.

I also love the visual affects on this video and others you've made. Magnifique! Your videos just blow me away. Then I keep coming back. lolz

This is the #1 YouTube Channel for classical music. So many beautiful pieces it's like: "So what do I wish to hear next?" Just choose your favorites.

    LOVE it!!

  • Again, there's NOTHING like a Bosendorfer. So crisp is the base, and the tremble rings like bells. Absolutely superb. And this artist can really tickle the ivories like no other. Truly outstanding; simply amazing.

  • magistral

  • my favorite part..funny part..4:55

  • Great performance and music

  • Hauntingly beautiful!

  • @TzviErez

I've been following your channel for a while and I was just about to ask the same question as ragtimesamtime. If you do produce an instructional DVD where you give advice on performance, memory training, preparing for performance etc, I will be a happy buyer. I already purchased a couple good books on the matter. Thanks a million for your interpretations
