While you're like a baby n your mom you have whats called the umbilicle(no idea how to spell that) cord attached to you're stomach that feeds you nutrition and oxygen and stuff so you can survive. When you're born they cut the cord so you have this scar on your stomach that is what we call the bellybutton :D not having a bellybutton would imply that that while you were in the womb you had no food or oxygen...So you'd be dead...
