  • he is like tim lincecum hes a beast

  • kid is a joke

  • is it me or does this kid throw across his body

  • good , quite good , but you shouldnt throw sidearm at your age , not even college kids should do it , once your in the minors you may , but if your under 20 eyars old , your arm is still under development , or sometimes falling into place , and sidearm throwing can ruin alot of that..

  • hang me real good!

  • I think he was shaking a milkshake when he was recording

  • ur delivery looks like u got something up ur ass

  • ok all his pitches were hang me bang

  • why do you change up your deliveries...bringing you knee up like that will only result in the runner having a successful stolen base

  • Lol I love how everyone on youtube thinks they're an expert ... Point out a single one of those curves that hung. He was trying to throw them down the middle to show off his accuracy. Each one of them had big break. A hanging curve is one that doesn't break, or breaks only slightly.

    And

    @EG2ReMpTiOn10

He obviously shows off his slide step in the video ... or were you not watching? He's not going to pitch from the full windup with runners on.

  • @mehik7734 now your trying to sound like you know everything and is a expert

  • Thats pretty impressive theres definetly still some things he needs to work on but all u guys saying that you would crush him i guarantee thats a lie and plus he would easily be recruited by a division 2 school

  • Bronson Arroyo of the Cincinnati Reds pitches sidearm and over the top.

  • and you change your plant location everytime you throw a different pitch! you might get recruited by a mens league softball team....or if your lucky the new prague orioles! you suck

  • balk!

  • He's not even that good? His curveball freaking sucks, and that change isn't subject to sweep,,it's supposd to dive down

  • wats the use of a sidearm pitch in general. like you couldnt tip ur pitches any easier than tht

  • somebody would crush that curveball

  • too much going on in his windup. also name one MLB pitcher that throws sidearm and over the top.

  • @canadianmales jose contreras

  • i think your curve is faster then your fastball. you throw meatballs chump. give it up

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO

  • he looks off balance

  • wind up almost looks like lincecum

  • the 2-1 pitch is the curveball that ball is hit on well and deep and that ball is OUT OF HERE and SC wins the ball game! i hear it now

  • not much on ur fastball or ateast it looks that way bein flat

  • Can you say Steven Strasburg

  • sick curve

  • not all that bad and i think he has good location... but his curveball isnt exactly great. he should focus more on 3 or 4 pitches instead of all these useless sidearm pitches.

  • damn that some ugly shit, ur curve ball is about as close as shit as you can get

  • depending on how you throw your curve, the one that tears your arm, is bad. i hate it. damn that is a nice change.

  • Yeah...I'm not trying to hate or anything but I bet that curve ball gets rocked all the time. Change-up was average, no tail on it at all for circle change. Looks like he throws strikes though, stick with it kid.

  • haha hang me curveball

    byeeee :]]

ohh umm why dont u stride and throw more with ur body..not with a stick stuck up ur...u get the picture

    just trying to help :]

  • your lead food should go straight not to the right

  • that side arm curveball will be tough for rightys

  • god your gonna have arm problems when you get older. shit

  • Please, show us some good staff!

  • why does this joker have almost 70 thousand views?

  • @grizzlyadms34

We dont have anything better to do! He is not a good ball player.

  • your terrible hahah an average 10 year old could hit you

  • His form is horrible. That thing he does with his leg when he winds up isnt helping him at all. His curveball hangs and i pitch in college and i can tell you right now that pitch is going to get crushed 9 out of 10 times. And he has to stop that side arm shit because thats horrible for his arm. Not bad stuff though but alot of his basic form needs to be corrected.

  • You have the worst form ive ever seen, im class of 2013 and im 10 time better than you.

  • he's got a nasty curveball

  • ur good i like the motion

  • all i have to say is he has a cannon!

  • teach me that pretty cure and that slurve

  • you stink your curve balls are change ups curve balls curve and after you throw the ball you go off balance your horrible

  • hes to funky with his delivery, all that extra show offy stuff isnt helping him

  • @CuInEternity he has good location though.

  • @CuInEternity his delivery is deceptive though

  • awful technique very unstable landing

you need to step straight because thats better for your arm and body and it improves velocity and control of your pitches

  • awful technique

    you must work on it

  • just awful

  • the change and slurve are shit. You need to learn a splitter with that delivery.

  • Im in 8th grade and im throwin 70 with a 10 mile difference knuckle ball that drops from shoulders to knees from 4-5 feet away.

  • kill yourself

  • MEAT!

  • NEVER throw any sort of curve or breaking pitch in an arm slot where your elbow falls below your shoulder....its an easy tip off, you wont get a great pitch out of it, and it WILL injure you severely if you continue!

  • Heres some tips for you throw harder, quit tipping your pitches before you throw them, and most important leave that hanging curveball in your back pocket cause your gonna get lit up if you throw that in college ball

  • that is not a change-up....its a slower slider/cutter. delete this you dont throw hard enough for college

  • that curveball is a HANGA!

    Hang n Bang that Thang!

  • @bthees1 retard thats not a hanger it's a called a 12 6 curveball it drops off the table and is hard to hit

  • @ThePCgamerFreak

Not sure which clock you are used to looking at every day, but that thing is more like a 12-1pm curveball, and he telegraphs his pitches worse than you know a curve ball from a change, OUT!

  • hells no this kid throws like 55 mph i throw harder than him and i got clocked at 77 im a freshman in high school btw

  • So what? Thats average for a freshman.

  • fail!

  • that curveball is fucking SEXY

  • His arm isn't going to last him. Weird torquing going on.

  • @josephshawa yes and the video named "biomechanics evaluation of a pitcher" has the best torque.

  • the mlb draft you?

  • i can throw better am i am 9

  • dude I hate to break it to you, but that lolipop curve would get completely mashed one of your better hitters

  • i kno its sloppy

  • curveball has good movement but it's very detectable, needs to work on hiding the ball more or making the motion look more like his fastball motion and it would be great

  • That's a dirty curve

  • your pitches aren't very deceptive....you want the hitters to think you are throwing a fastball when you are throwing a curve this is what throws them off....your arm action with the curve is slow and release point is way early...good hitters will pick up on that

  • i just recently got tendonitus from throwing sidearm :(

  • ok kid who said ur moving at 93 ur retarted and also the kind who said he has a goosd wind up is an idot this kids mechanicas are fucked up but cud work his stuff is alright hes throwin probably 78-80 im a pitcher i throw 88-91 no lie but i meen he aint bad just a lil goofy

  • @17niggaz theres no way thats 78-80. looks more like high 60s.

  • he's probably averaging 70 mph

  • @hurricanelogan that wont get him any far into college baseball eh

  • no way, lower to mid 80's will get you in d3 ball.

  • @hurricanelogan and how is that good?

  • its not lol, d3 ball is like high school ball

  • You aint Juan Marichal bitch

  • lol agreed

  • it looks slower when its taped... wow everyone is just sayin stuff when this kid is pretty good

  • he looks like tim lincecum

  • not. at. all.

  • Lol that shit is right down the middle. Good luck kid.

  • this guy is nothing. I mean i give him all due respect and everything but I can throw twice as good easily and my fastball is moving at at least 93 mph.

  • thatss baby throwiinqq qet better

  • how fast is that? like 65mph?

  • good looking curveball. fastball needs more speed. throw a slider not a slurve. keep the sidearm curve for right handed batters and hit the wieghts alittle more. but you do have a good wind up

  • hahahahaha. what a joke!!!

  • kid you fall off SO much

  • get some muscle in your arms and legs and you could be pretty good, maybe the next tim lincecum.

  • hahhahahahahaahahhhahhaha

  • Advice:

    1. Get rid of the curve, it's slow and it's going to get rocked. Use the slurve only and perfect it/ locate it... one perfect pitch is better than two shitty ones.

    2. Lose the "Side Arm" thing, all that does is show hitters another release angle which coaches will eventually exploit, and one again... you get rocked.

Perfect your mechanics (balance, footwork, release angle, speed-change, timing) and you win the mental battle. You win the mental battle, and you win the game.

  • meat

  • Take off those sunglasses you jag

  • nice curve, and slurve

    buy a damn tripod

  • nice pitchin, nasty curve

  • i hope noone college actually thought about u..... yea ur curve is nasty but it wuld get cranked. ur fast ball is maybe 80 which is a little above average for college not really and ur like 130 pounds.. if u were 190 ur fastball wuld be 5 mph greater

  • yo man, you playin in college?

  • bye bye ball

  • That's what I thought. I would love for him to pitch to me.

  • curveball has a nice break but its jacked if some1 were to hit

also mechanics r a little wild

  • drew cannon, u have a cannon!

  • ROFL

  • those curveballs would be on the moon if there was a batter

  • TErrible mechanics....

  • wow nice pitching but break your curveball off a little bit more so it goes farther down in the strike zone...

other wise if you leave it hanging thats the easiest pitch to hit out in baseball but over all good pitching

  • mechanics look out of control. Good luck though in college.

  • he better not use that sidearm curve lmaoo that shit will get smackeddd

  • i am very surprised on how good of a curve ball that was drew. if you are interested in playing ball for Fairview Hairyjohnsons then give me a call at 914 582 5211. thanks and good luck

  • sorry hes al ready playing for the shavenpussies...sorry

  • a good hitter would destroy that curveball

  • your curve ball is good..but you let the 3 one hang..most people would destroy that

  • ur curveball is sick

need to work on ur mechanics tho

  • not bad for hs, side arm curve looks like it hang n bang type pitch, wouldn't throw that at any level over HS

  • this is pete dodge, from the north carolina state recruiting department and we would really like to contact this kid. Is there anyway i could get his information to get a hold of him.

  • this kid fucking sucks, way to go on the cheezy ass video dad, you pitching mechanics look like they hurt.

  • do a video on how you throw your curve?

  • yea exactly

  • he has a ugly windup

  • wow man ur curve is fucking pro man. keep it up

  • You have a nasty curve and slurveballs. How hard do you throw tho?

  • nice slurve ; D

  • thats a very nice curve ball... how da heck do you throw such a nice one... btw how hard do you throw? b/c it its like in da high 70's low 80's its gonna be hard to get drafted... although the control is very nice...

  • my side arm curve goes 6-12 its messed up

  • so you are saying it rises?

  • dirty. just fucking dirty. gj

  • gravity balls

  • wow thats so gross, hes good

  • how big is drew?

  • that curve is friggin nasty

  • put some clothes on that hanger! (curve)

  • need to stop your arm from reaching from first base. practice with a wall and learn to sotp your arm once it is lined with 2nd base other wise the shoulder will be dead before college begins.

  • yeah i had a problem with that, but one of our coaches helped fix it and I threw alot better

  • your change up needs work that thing can get crushed a mile high

  • you are throwing across your body...can't be explosive like that

  • Yea dude watch the inverted L in the back, and where your dragging the ball back to. You should try and bring the ball stright up by ur side insted of back first, and you should try to get your elbow above your shoulder before you start to move forward to work on rythem.

  • thatcurve ball drops like 2 feet

  • work on mechanics man, ur are will be toast before long

  • that was the sickest curve ive seen in a long time

  • high ass leg kick.

  • puase at .25 he will throw his arm out

  • nice curve buht mines is better

  • nice ass 12-6. that shits nasty.

  • your curveball and slurve are sick they have a huge drop

  • a young tim lincecum

  • dawg i got over 10 people with my curve wen at my game for school i left theem lookin dumb as hell... haa u pritty gud but i would trash them ballls u piched.. no homo

  • Very nice work good to see someone who can actually throw on Youtube for a change. Don't listen to these people instructing you on changing your form, do what is natural and you will stay successful beautiful 12-6 by the way. Zito-esque

  • bad ass curve you lift your leg to high and tip off your pitch

  • balk

  • lol

  • terrible mechanics and you might not wanna lift your leg so high you might actually throw the ball harder

  • I love your fluency. It seems you throw it pretty well.

    But, two things:

On your full wind-up, you take yourself onto a ball, if you wish. It kills a bit your momentum; unless it is purely natural, you could take less or kick a bit more to the side. But, if this movement is just your personnal gimmic, liek it came on its own, leave it there.

Read my second post for the other point.

  • I prefer your swing on the stretch, but yet, you lack in a point; your leg doesn't rise and you don't take long stride enough.

This shortens the appliance time ( time in which you apply the given acceleration) and it happens it is directly proportionnal to the final speed. If you gain distance, you gain time.

But as for teh other don't settle to break your mechanics; just try to use the flexibility you have to strech further. This oen is less of a problem to change than the other. great job!

  • put a coat on that hanger, nice drop on it but 12-6 is just asking to be ripped all day, the last one was the only good one.... not to mention the ugly thing you call a wind up. And you tip your pitches with different arm angles and wind up speed. On the positive side the heat looks pretty good but fix the wind up and get better push of the mound and it'll be decent.

p.s. get rid of that side arm shit, only retards like John Maine pull off that bullshit.

  • how much ur curve drop?

  • curveballs dirt

  • slow, id smack every ball you threw. you need some help with your mechanics. also make sure you come set before you throw.

  • dont slide step, you should have the same leg kick as your windup

  • If someone is on first, slide stepping could make or break catching a guy stealing. It all depends really.

  • slide stepping kills your arm if you are inexperienced, and it leaves pitches up which if theres a runner on, its not somthing that you want to do

  • Ya. I prefer leg kicking too, i cant slide step and get decent pitches xD

  • And I thought I had bad mechanics...

  • plus he lands so far closed he discards all his legs.

  • this kid suck dick

  • i noticed a couple things......you come more 3/4 when you throw your changeup and i dont think i ever saw you come completely set in the stretch. Otherwise good movement but make sure you keep that ball down.

  • hey kid all you need is to locate you pitches and u be alright hopefully this vid was just to show u have command of your pitches being able to locate your pitches is much more valueale than having a 100 mph fastball screw all these assholes who claim to know anything bout baseball just talking out thier asses prob just keep practicng uwant it bad enough you'll get there

  • nice movement on that slurve,

just dont leave fastballs right down the middle.

  • ok heres your problem I bet your fucking wilder than my sex last night your curveballs predictable and you probally suck out of the stretch plus you look like a curly head jew

  • college schools like to see continous footage while your pitching not just cuts and snips of clips. that way they can see if your consitant or not.

  • Constructive feedback guys please. comments like "your curveball sucks" doesn't help him out.

    I digress.

I think if you add 5 mph or so to your fast ball it will improve all the other pitches. You do have very nice command but mechanics can always be improved. Keep your curve ball low and the side arm curve has a lot of potential.

    Work ethic.

  • hahah let me get one of those hangin curve see where ima put it and your fastball is nothing to the shit im hittin here

  • Pitching technique seems very uncooridanated and sloppy to me..

  • you curve stays too high in the zone

  • ur garbage. im a sophomore on a class 5A texas team. We would murder ur shit. and u probably throw like 70. If u dont throw at least 80 ur garbage
