I'm from Iowa. As an 8 year old, I watched my first college football game. It was the 1994 Orange Bowl vs. Nebraska. I instantly fell in love with the shiny helmets, the Spear, The War Chant, and the swarming defense. I went to the 2002 game vs. Iowa State at Arrowhead Stadium. Being a part of the warchant was awesome!

my dad is from england and his friends were in town and they came to an fsu game last year, the first game of the season that got rained out and 75% of the stands emptied. both of them said they had never seen an atmosphere like it. thats from a life long chelsea supporter and life long arsenal supporter.

It's a small private school of a little over 15,000 (undergrad/postgrad) students - as opposed to FSU which has a little over 41,000 (undergrad/postgrad) students or UF that has almost 52,000 students (undergrad/postgrad) .. but yet, that little private school in Coral Gables (whose tuition cost $28,000 more a year than FSU or UF - so it's a little bit harder to attend) still has more National Championships than both FSU and UF combined. You're 2-7 from 2000-2007 against Miami. Good Job FSU.
I remember that stand! It was before Miami beat you in your own house with a team that only went 5-7! Also remember before the game started, the entire FSU squad went to midfield, starting jumping up/down & Miami completely ignored them - wow - great intimidation tactics.
