  • THE USA are the terrorist, communists, and criminals

  • George Bush pronounced it NUCULAR!

  • so who would of thought tiger woods could win the presedent position...

  • Both REPUBS and DEMS fail us. Both break the Nation's heart. No honor for the fallen soldier. Public servants lying, living above the law, using their powers to serve their own needs. Enough is enough how do we take back our country?

  • amen.

So sick of all of these GOP and DEM fanbois who seem to think "their side" is 100%, infallible while "the other side" is not just wrong, but evil.

Meanwhile they both ass rape what is left of the wealth of this nation and toss out bills to corporate america and Saudi inc.

Fuck that... I want what is left of my country back...

  • 1,245,538 (numbers are increasing every hour) Iraqi has been killed

    Y noone mention it??

they didnt have anything to do with Alqaede(CIA offshore agency)! they were innocent, At least those 4000 US soldiers were paid for that (if we dont call them criminals as they were killing innocent people)

Are Americans blood more valuable than Iraqi'e..

ask this from yourself my friend

    Democracy is an "illusion"

  • lol pretty low budget news room but good conversations :D

  • Hey Personal jesus, is that the royal "We"?

You tell me a time that the middle east HASNT been relevant?

    Learn your politics mate.

  • whenever i see Obama/Biden I see OsAMA BInlaDEN. How weird is that. Anyone else?

  • If there wasn't any readily found WMD's in IRAQ the CIA would've eventually made sure that there was, compliments of the NEOCONZ & NEOLIBZ.

  • You're probably right

  • What is so wrong about federalizing Iraq?

Iraq is already broken into 18 states, and it's somewhat common knowledge that the three dominant ethnic groups are the Shia, Sunni, and the Kurds in the North.

And it looks like a direct western-style government wouldn't work.

    So why not?

Have each state hold its own elections, selecting their "governor" and 2 "senators" to participate in the federal government. To go with that, have each state independently chose the way local government works.

  • And then, to ease the racial tensions, have each ethnic group elect one person to "represent" the culture. All of this taking place under a nationally elected "President".

Seems like a solid plan to me.

  • Federal Government:

    -"President" [1]

    -"Ethnic Legislature" [6]

Shia Muslims, Sunni Muslims, Kurds, Assyrian, Iraqi Turkmen, (other)

    -"Iraqi Legislature" [36]

2 elected, from every state and the capital territory Baghdad.

Have any legislation start in the Iraqi Legislature and work it's way up to the President. Similar checks and balances to the US system to make sure that the power is balanced.

Finally, limit the role of the federal government to taxes, troops, and the national oil company.

  • State/Capital Territory Government:

    -"Governor" [1]

Elected by citizens of the State

    -"State Legislature" [?]

Form chosen, with reason, and elected by the State.

    -"Mayor" [1]

Elected by the citizens of the town/city

    -"City Council" [?]

Decided, within reason, by the City.

  • I know the setup is pretty much a bare skeleton of what a real government would look like, but I hope you get the idea.

Limit the federal government, by having their focus be on issues that affect all of Iraq, like the strength of the military, taxes and control of the national oil company, to manage the country's greatest resource and hopefully provide for it's citizens, at large.

And then have the states be the focus of a lot of the governance of Iraq, dealing with most the other issues.

  • In my opinion, the overall goal should be to create a government that Iraq's ethnically diverse population is comfortable with, while still having that government in enough control to preserve the national integrity of the country

  • The overall goal should be to get out of there and let the people of iraq deal for themselves.

  • Overall a UN effort or some sort of agreement should be reached and assist Iraq. You can't just destroy half a country and go "oh, we'll leave now kthxbye". The US should drag its military out of there, and all its bases, then let Iraq do whatever it wants.

  • Your comment seems to contradict itself... and yet you appear to agree with my first comment.

    Thanks for the neg rating.

  • USACite,,,what a bullshit man you:)"Iraqi ppl deal for themselves" How stupid you say that,,like the Iraqi never dealt by themself are you creazy dude?

Be4 your bullshit country created Iraqi were running your life dude:)go read history than sitting here:)watching Utube.

  • I think I deciphered your gibberish to assert that you obviously did not understand my previous comment, and hacked it to assume something I did not state.

    Remember kids... stay in school!

  • The United States, without the support of much of the world, decided that it was their place to invade Iraq, crush the infrastructure, and kill Saddam Hussein, yet we should just leave the country, and have the Iraqis make due, with a tattered country?

    I think not.

As it stands, it's the responsibility of the United States, to make sure that Iraq gets a fair chance to succeed.

  • Correction... George W Bush with the support of half-assed intelligence from the CIA and others in his administration decided to invade Iraq and overthrow Saddam Hussein- (which had nothing to do with 911 btw...GWB admits this openly). The American People were lied to... period.

... a fair chance to succeed??? at what? Democracy? Capitalism? Do you actually think the people of Iraq are going to put on Levis jeans and start making lead painted rubber dog poop to sell on ebay? Gimme a break dude!

  • It'd be ignorant of me to assume that the Iraqi culture and belief system falls directly in line with that of the Western World.

When I say a fair chance to succeed, I mean that Iraq, as a nation, should be given a chance to create a "stable" government.

As evil as Saddam was, at least there was stability in Iraq. THAT, and only that, should be the "end game" goal for Iraq.

A "stable" government, without the tyranny of Saddam Hussein.

    Understand?

  • Yep...as a matter of fact I do understand your last comment scipio2009...

It is my belief that all nations SHOULD have a chance to aspire to a level of success that incorporates a stability and sustainability for its people... something we are still trying to accomplish here in the USA after 400+ years... but I still do not think it is our responsibility to force that belief on others.

If the Iraqi people had wanted to overthrow Saddam they would have done so without our intervention.

  • Well, we decided that one for them, now didn't we.

My main point is that it'd be irresponsible, on our part, to leave Iraq in tatters, most of which was inflicted by the US government, and then say "Ok Iraq, here's the mess; time for you to clean it up. Bye."

I'm not advocating we stay forever. The violence in the country, from what I've been able to read, has come down, and the Shia and Sunni are heading to a truce.

IMO, 16 months would be a solid amount of time to help along the process.

  • Help train the military/police force. Help moderate the resolution of the Sunni/Shia conflict; play up the threat that Al Quaeda and Iran have to all Iraqis. There are other ways that the US can substantively help the Iraqis and Iraq.

But most importantly of all, communicate to the Iraqis that US will not be there forever. Make it the goal to prepare the Iraqis do defend their own country, without the help of the US.

IMO, that's a pretty legit solution.

  • scipio2009 no body want create goV. in Iraq. Why you think they did the war? And why you think the Americans killing babies and women?

  • I would be interested in YOUR answers to those exact questions.

  • I honestly don't care what anyone "wants".

My point is that Iraq, as a country, NEEDS to find stability.

The goal should always be for the United States to leave Iraq, with Iraq settled into a governing style that they are comfortable with.

With the bits of info that I know, I merely suggested a governance template, which I believe would be accepted by the Iraqis, since it took into account, the very nature of my perception of the situation in the country.

  • Here's the thing... as simple as I can explain it:

"It's not our fuckin job to set up governments of foreign nations".

  • it's almost to simple, simple is good! take care of the people of the america! now that is simple! write in ron paul!

  • LOL

I'd advise you to go and look at the guy's record.

When it comes to some foreign policy, I believe he has the right idea, but a lot of his other opinions, in my opinion, are just stir crazy.

He's against the UN, NATO, Federal Reserve, taxes, Social Security, and nearly every government program on the books. He's against abortion rights, but still feels that states have the right to decide that for themselves.

RP would be the end of everything

  • that is just what the doctor ordered for this country...don't believe all the bullshit you've been trained to think! the constitution and the bill of rights are "ALL" we need to used as a measuring stick to goveren, by all else is foley and has failed completely! if it is NOT in the consitution we cannot legal go to war, create laws , taxes and institutions against its princeples period all else is treasonest! end of point and nothing anyone can come up with is relavent! understand!

  • If you honestly believe that, in today's society, we should eliminate all the various programs, that the federal government undertakes on behalf of the American people, you can go on and continue living in your bubble.

In the real world, there are a lot of people that depend on these programs, which you believe should be condemned, and eliminating them will be condemning them to death.

    Have fun in your bubble

  • keyword there: DEPEND... you are correct. Too many people depend on "the government" to solve their problems... nobody wants to do for themselves anymore. It's just too easy to collect a welfare check instead of going out and working 40 hours a week... pump out enuf kids and you can stay in the system.

What about the homeless & forgotten veterans? Who can they DEPEND on? The guy that just got laid off because his company moved his job to China or Mexico? Bottom line is government fucks thingsup

  • Without the modern safety net that is the United States government, what would "the guy that just got laid off because his company moved his job to China or Mexico" do then to feed his family?

What about the 70 year old senior, who depends on his Social Security check, which he worked over 40 hours a week for his entire adult life, to keep the lights on in his house?

Yes, like any system, there are those who abuse it, still you cannot deny that it's done far more good than bad for the country

  • first off, if a person saves their own money threw out their life, thats how it done.fuck ss! second, if familys return toward taking care of one another, you wouldn't be shipping off grandpa to a nursing home. the family has been completely destroyed! this whole system has dismantled any and all reason or commen sence!you have what i call the parrot problem, you have learned what the failed education system tells you and then you spit it back out! i'm not your enemy your goverment is! peace!

  • So I guess everyone that you know always has some money left over, to stow away just in case.

Well, unfortunately, that's not the case for most of the country.

A lot of people barely make it, living paycheck to paycheck, so what are they to do, without having a means to make sure that some money is saved for them, when they retire.

In case you don't know, a LOT of people don't have that extensive family structure to fall back on, when times get hard, so what are THEY supposed to do?

  • man your missing the facts or not stringing them together!if everyone had more of their money-"big gov. and way to much taxes"-and their money was worth more-"the fed. res. bank destroyed the value of the dollar"-,you could save and decide for your self how and what you do with your money!small gov vs. big gov and hard real money gold standard vs. soft inflatble money, they print as much as they want! 9 trillion debt now and 53 trillion in ten yrs. because of ss & medicare do you get it now dam

  • Dude, you are trying to argue the point that government programs should not be in existence!

You're saying that social security is a bad idea!

I sit here, give you a clear example of what following your logic would do to a good number of people in this country, and you want to right me off as being dumb? Come on!

  • How did the Fed "destroy" the dollar? What is so wrong in having programs like Social Security and Medicare, to help take care of the citizens who can no longer take care of themselves?

You eliminate all these programs to assist people, and you put some of that money "back into people's pockets", only to see that money go back to paying for the program, which you eliminated.

Where's the extra money going to come from?

Life doesn't exist in a bubble.

    try stepping out of yours.

  • the constitution does NOT i repeat DOES NOT!...call for the over bloated fed and the rest of this made up crap, that doesn't even work anyway...take care of yourself and your loved ones! get it kid and if someone does not have family to take care of them, there is something called charites! it worked in the past, before this so call progressive bullshit started! your stand is weak and full of holes! if you can't see it then their's no hope for you! go live in your little bubble,do some research

  • And this guy wants ME to do some research.

Since you wanna try to come off as an "old timer", I find it funny that you forget how the Great Depression showed how great the charity system stepped in, when the country had fallen apart.

    Oh wait...

The Great Depression that, though depending on charity is a solid claim, the country needed the government to provide a safety net, just in case another situation where charity failed, arose again.

Funny what history can show you

  • listen up...these same mutha fuckers your voting for "dem's or rep's" are part of the same group of pricks that caused the great depression! i.e. the internationals bankers, big corperations, live a little life than come talk to me...oh go ahead vote the bastards in! they will continue to fuck everything up, like they allways have...they don't care about us, they only care about there pockets! thats why we need men and women like ron paul in office to turn this country in the right direction!

  • When did I ever say anything about the Great Depression being something that one "party" was responsible for?

Since you missed the point, I guess I'll have to repeat it, once again.

Programs, like social security, were put in place by both parties, Democrat and Republican, for the simple reason that the way of doing things before hand, laying all hope on the abilities of charity, FAILED!

If the Great Depression happened, and "sticking to family"/charity, worked, SS would've never come to be

  • Give me 3 reasons each why we need the UN, NATO, FED Reserve, IRS, and SSI...

Your page says you are 20... where will SSI be in the year 2053 when you turn 65? How much will you have invested in that failed program?

As far as abortion rights... I am indifferent on the subject, but a blanket federal law creates more problems than it solves. Point being... take responsibility for yourself and you don't have to worry about it.

  • UN:

-The United States, through the might of it's armies and coming out better for wear in nearly every conflict that has presented itself to this great country, has emerged as the world's sole super power, and with that, the most influential nation in the World.

-International "balance" is key to preserving US national security.

-Because the UN is the "respected" governing body of the world, and the lack of US involvement and support in it, would undermine the whole concept.

  • NATO

-It was a policy that predated the Cold War, which was set up in the face of the strength of the Russian empire, which most of Europe believe would dominate the entire continent if something wasn't accomplished.

-Because the US is still allies with most of Europe, and still uncomfortable with the strength of Russia.

    -The Warsaw Pact still exists

  • Federal Reserve

    - Gave businesses the confidence, to invest their money, by having a centralized organization to "control" the dollar, eliminating most fear of losing entire fortunes to another Stock Market crash.

-Helped stimulate business, by ensuring that the banking system of loaning money to people was legit enough for people to make that investment.

-Because without, the Fed, confidence in any financial sector would go to the toilet, since the dollar would no longer be uniform.

    crash

  • IRS

-To make sure the Federal government recieves the fair amount of taxes, from the citizenry, which they are to pay, one of the basic responsibilities of the government.

-Taxes are often the sole means by which the government can pay for its programs.

-Because people won't pay their taxes if there wasn't an organization to make sure that they do so.

  • Social Security

-Because there are people over the age of 65, who can no longer handle the rigors of working 40 hours per week, or more, and need to keep their lights on.

-There are people over the age of 65, who spent their entire lives working, and could never find a place to save any money on their own, so their pensions/social security is all the have left.

-Great Depression. No need to say anymore.

  • When I'm 65, I'd hope that I'd been able to a better job of saving for my eventual retirement than my parents, and their parents before them, had done, so getting that SS check wouldn't be my end all be all.

Besides, by the time I'm 65, the Baby Boomers would've been long gone, and we'd have more people in the active workforce, by way of the population continuing to grow, so I believe the system would still be okay.

  • And on abortion, that's why I'm pro-choice, for the simple fact that it puts the decision solely in the hands of the woman, and her family network, rather than any other agenda on the table, from the radical right or left.

  • CitazenJames. Great Comment. It must be getting kind of warm for the ZionCons of RacketFellon with all this information being exposed in the the world wide web.

They are (relieng) on the MediaConz to maintain this illusion that has backfired since 911.With the Economy in the shitter along with the banking crises and massive loss in realestate. They have turned again towards another smoke screen in this Georgan conflict that was cleary masterminded by the Zionists. Were wise to them,

  • Thanks...and yes we are.

  • It's not our job, I can accept that.

However, it's also not our job to leave a country in ruin, either.

Have the Iraqis figure out how they themselves want to be govern.

We just need to make sure that the infrastructure is at least back to where it was when we came in, before we leave.

  • Okay... how about OUR infrastructure? Will that be the same way it was when George W came into the picture as when he leaves it?

Our country he will leave in ruin... but that is ok? Bullshit.

  • Again, I've never said that we should ignore the issues at home; let us make that clear. However, just up and leaving Iraq, in the state that it is, is not only immoral, but dangerous to the national interests of the United States, for the simple fact that Iran and Al Quaeda are merely waiting for the opportunity to fill that void.

  • That is why I want to see the 16 month withdrawal plan take place, since it eases the transition to Iraqis defending their country, while allowing us to refocus our efforts on improving our own country, finishing the mess that we started beforehand, and returning home in better standing among the international community.

America has a responsibility to focus on developing our country, but there are still some loose ends that we need to tie up, before committing to the US in good faith.

  • The ONLY viable option for this country is to vote third party. BALDWIN, BARR OR GREEN PARTY. Anything else is just going in the same wrong direction.

  • Electing Obama and Biden would be a disaster for America at this critical time. Obama would be worse than Jimmy Carter (that sanctimonious scumbag) who lost Iran to the Ayatollah and gave away the Panama Canal (now run by the Chinese).

Elect McCain and Palin in 2008!!

Democrats are wild-eyed Marxists (Saul Alinsky and Noam Chomsky are their 'gods' on foreign policy). Idiots!!

  • I would ask that you step back and look at the bigger picture: "They are all crooks... so it doesn't matter who you vote for, as if that really counted in the first place."

  • I did not neg rate you. o_O; All I'm saying is that it seems wrong to destroy half a country and leave without making sure a country (Iraq) has the means to pull itself out of the gutter. I'd prefer if this were a global effort, not lead by the US is all I'm saying. After the help, just leave Iraq be. It's just my opinion. And again, I do not neg rate comments unless they are truly messed up. <_<; And yes, voting doesn't mean squat. :(

  • we never cared what happened in the middle east before why care now?

  • It would be nice if you somehow made it clearer which videos are multi-part, especially when you don't post all the parts in the same day. I spent a pretty silly amount of time finding each part of this series, especially this one since I wasn't up yesterday. You could put something in the title, like most do, or you could at least make them into a chain of video replies (2/3 is a reply to 1/3, etc).

  • wow, of first to MementoExpose, a rant like that really tells us nothing. Obama wants us out of Iraq, Biden wants us out of Iraq, McCain wants us to stay in Iraq, palin... Iraq is not something she really thinks about. Looking at that, yea Obama/Biden is the ones for change and McCain/Palin just more of the same

  • Incorrect, Obama/biden/hillary(etc?) will leave behind a residual force on the ground training iraq forces and help guarding the oil resources&companies, huge list even Russia is in it! Minimum 35.000 soldiers. Thats not out of Iraq! "you" are still in Iraq, just not at the insane numbers of MCcain. Neither would ever leave Iraq completly, specially the USA in its financial debt conditions mainly caused by the military invasion of iraq. Both sides will remain there, just in different ammounts!

  • Yes we would have a residual force on the gound but they will not be on the streets. There is no way we can pull out 100%, it will take a long time to get 100% out. McCain want to leave us there, all of are guys. Iraq wants us off there streets and for us to just go. McCain will fight them on this and leave us paying billions to fight a war we did not need to get into in the first place. The bottom line is if you like it how it is then vote McCain, if you want to see us go a new way vote Obama

  • What new way? It's basicly the same way, don't you understand? Their purpose and the end result will be the same, maintain control of the oil resources, the reason why AIEA was never allowed to finish its inspections, because they (neo-cons) knew very well they would never find anything so the faster they could start and remove Sadam out of power and set up the current puppet government to gain control over oil. 35000 or 70000 of residual troops doesn't matter, the result is the same, oil!

  • >> Obama/Biden is the ones for change and McCain/Palin just more of the same

Hey, I watched the DNC where they were programming you to spout the "that's not change, that's more of the same!" line over and over. You're doing a great job, parrot!

(for the record, I dislike both candidates, don't assume I'm Republican, I don't live inside your brainwashed 2 party system)

  • I am someone who wanted to see things change a lot more then Obama wants, I am a indapendent but I look at the road we need to go down and right now the only want to start going down that road is with Obama. If we dont it will take anther 10 years before we can see things like univeral health care, tax cuts for the middle class, and get us back where we need to be on the world stage. Right now I need to be behind someone who will start the change and then I will be out there pushing for more

  • Actually, I agree and think Obama is probably the lesser of the two evils. McCain's top advisers are the lobbyists for the oil industry. Big oil likes war, prices (& profits) go up and maybe end up with drilling rights. But we'll probably be in Iran before the election - after a staged attack against us to give us the "justification" to go. "And during such a time of war & unrest, could we really risk transferring power now?" is what we'll hear. "state of emergency" = suspension of Constitution

  • fuck fuck fuck Biden

that fuckhead wants to divide Iraq into 3 states

why can't Americans mind their own fucking business

divide your own country if you want

leave our country alone, we don't want to divide it

  • hmmm, you want the USA to mind its own business - yes, I agree. But McCain wants to stay there for 100 yrs. Are you really Iraqi? With all the lives lost and the infrastructure ruined - do you want more of that? I am sorry our nation held you hostage with sanctions and attacked your country for no reason. I do not believe we should leave a base or troops in Iraq - but I have a feeling there would be a bloodbath.

  • There wasn't a bloodbath before the invasion (compared to what the Americans inflict on a daily basis now anyway) - why would there be a bloodbath if America left?

  • Saddam ruled with an Iron Fist. He kept the Kurds at bay, and the Sunnies and Shiites see Islam thru different glasses - the smaller group ruled so the larger group was repressed. Without Saddam's bathist party rule, the majority has and will be getting even for the Saddam years. The kurds just want their own land but they will fight if it seems to be in danger of losing it. The three groups hate each other and they do not trust the leaders we have installed. I hope I am wrong.

  • you are wrong

the ones in power now are not the Shiites, these are Iranian political parties (mainly the Supreme Islamic Council headed by Al-Hakim) this group was created IN Iran and fought against Iraq during the Iran-Iraq war

& the kurds play victim but they are not, today the kurds are trying to steal iraqi cities just because the central govt. is weak, they are importing kurds from iran and turkey to kurdify iraqi cities and steal them, they want to steal my home city mosul

  • look at the kurds in iran turkey and syria, what do they have? NOTHING, but now the US has let them loose on Iraq & they are trying to steal everything they can, they forced this federalism thing on us & they supported the Biden plan to divide Iraq, they are traitors and Iraq should just declare independence from them because right now they are destroying our country

  • the Baathists were not Sunni, there were Shiite Kurdish and Sunni baathists, the baath was founded by a Syrian Christian (Michel Aflaq) I lived in Baathist Iraq I know, the Baathists hated all religious people, & because the Shiites in Iraq are more religious than the Sunnis, they rebelled more often and had that murderous reaction from the Baathists , I'm not defending the baathis but this is the truth, the whole point of the Baath party was that it was a secular anti-religion Pan-Arab party

  • So do you want the USA to stay in Iraq or leave? I believe we have caused the death (murdered) enough way more than necessary. The weak gov doesn't stand up, the fighting continues, if there won't be a bloodbath why must we be there. I feel the USA invaded your country for your oil. Supposedly, you are in the black - $76B in the black. Saddam gassed the Kurds so I guess that was a good thing cuz the USA used it as an excuse. Would you all be betteroff had we not invaded cuz only you would know

  • the US should stop helping Iraq's enemies like Iran and separatist Kurds

the kurdish political parties are just working to steal as much land from Iraq as possible so they can declare a state, they also work with militias to undermine security

today the US is allied with the same people in Iraq as Iran, search ''the Supreme Islamic Council'' headed by al-Hakim, this group was founded in Iran, by the Mullahs and today they pretend to be an Iraqi group & the US is allied with them

    treason

  • Do you live there or here? Here the US is threatening to bomb Iran. We see the leaders of Iraq meeting with Iran and that makes me believe you. So the US should pull out and allow you to end the civil war. Israel is threatening to bomb Iran if we don't - I am against us being involved in the area at all. Are you better off today or before the war? Were you a bathist? I believe Bush is guilty of War Crimes because of allthe deaths and the fact 9/11 and Iraq were not related.

  • It just show's how reliable it is to ask people who have lived in Iraq and other countries part of the new 'axis of evil', rather than watching the tripe they spit out on CNN, Fox and other major media.

You only have to watch the video's on the Russian perspectives of the Georgian conflict to see how polarised American (and British) views are compared to the rest of the world.

  • No to Obama

    No to Biden

    No to Obama

    No to Biden

Biden wants to wipe Iraq off the map

    ----

    McCain 08

  • Fuck them all and vote Ron Paul!

  • If McCain was smart he would have picked Ron Paul as VP

he would have won for sure

  • Hell ya!

  • write in Ron Paul...for true change! hellsya

  • Damn right!

  • When it comes to foreign policy, I agree that Ron Paul is a very good choice.

But has anyone actually looked at the man's thoughts on what to do with the rest of the country?

Not a pretty sight at all.
