Music is a combination of melody and rythm. A didge is used primarilly a rythm instrument but occasionally can be manipulated to pull out some melody...but not in a traditional european idea. Anyways I dont know much about the didge as I'm just learning myself but good stuff.

how does he keep his breath for so long????

he uses a technique called circular breathing which allows the player to keep playing a note for as long as he wants, whilst breathing in thru his nose. it sounds impossible but anyone can do it with practice. try it :-)

I Love the way Both Larry and Djalu play!!!!Though Larry is very Fast and Powerful....the Old Master does have a Richness in His playing that time and experience have given Him I reckon!!!!

I reckon you're right there. Don't forget too that Djalu has big mobs of facial hair that makes it very difficult to get a good sound. Plus the fact he doesn't have a teenager's lungs and heart. He's amazing in my books...
