I have to say, I think Legolas is my favorite character in Lord of the Rings. Him and the dwarf guy.

It doesn't matter if you are a shipper of this pairing or not - this video is brilliant. The editing, the pace, and the choice of the song is perfect. It makes this pairing believable - and the video is a joy to watch. For shippers sake, you could easily replace legolas with Aragorn and it would work just as well. I just want to say, you are talented. It made me a believer. The music match with the pace in all the right places!

This is not bad. Everybody has their own imaginary pairing, that’s why it called as a fans pairing and this video is just a fans video. I think Legolas and Arwen is not a bad pair, they can match somehow. You know, Legolas is childlike and innocent while Arwen is wise and act like an adult so they can support for each other. I like this video.

I have read the book and there's no mention of them being related. And anyway, he's a Sindarin elf, and from Mirkwood, and she's a Noldor elf, from Rivendell/Lothlorien. Similarly, for them to be cousins, the aunt/uncle of one must be the mother/father of the other: Elrond has a brother, Elros, who is DEFINITELY no relation to Legolas (he chooses to be mortal). Celebrian is an only child. And as far as the world knows, neither Thranduil nor his wife have siblings.

They are siblings basically.

Thranduil is the father of Legolas.

Arwen is Elrond's daughter.

I'm sorry, but they're not closely related. Arwen is descended from the Noldorin, and Legolas is a Sindar. They are quite different, even though they are both 'royalty' (Legolas may be a prince, but he has lower status than Arwen, who is the daughter of a Lord.)
