@raigekimaru Nobody in the right mind thinks that Callas was just a coloratura soprano; Callas was - and still is - the soprano that could tackle everything, just like in the old days, do I need to mention Lilly Lehmann?
Though the voice has lost some of its qualities, this aria suits Callas temperament perfectly. She was born to sing furious angry roles, not delicate, fragile women. I still prefer Cossotto's version for even voice, power and all but Callas is passionate too.

I love this aria so wonderful only Callas can put so much emotion into something like this Viva la Divina
