@lilacs91 I was a 18 in 1980. It wasn't bad...people felt safe. On hulu you can watch "Lou Grant" and get a sense of the kind of gentle, slow quality the times had.

But..the 80's "in all its glory"...lol. Not having the internet was isolating; Ronald Reagan was awful...AIDS was just hitting.

I was jealous of the people who got to be teens in the '60's : ) Find what this time has to offer, and live and enjoy it to the max.
