The interviewing said the "devout" should stay away from the theatre. He shouldn't have assumed. I happen to be a Mormon and I want to see this play so badly. The music IS classic. I know many Mormons have seen this play and loved it. Trey and Matt are so creative and I love all the work they've done . I hope they keep it up. :)
seems like only the muslims are the people without a sense of humour. It's on our money, in our Pledge of Allegiance, our politicians must be Christian, and ending their speeches with "God bless America" seems required. It's sad, really. Although I feel that a decent amount of younger people have wised up to what has been force-fed to us.

There are three times as many books denouncing religion than there are religious. Look at the children who have gotten in trouble for praying on schoolgrounds, a so called first ammendment right. I have seen far, far more hate directed towards Christians by the "persecuted aitheist" than vice versa.

I saw this when it was in previews. I just have to say that IT LIVED UP TO ALL THE HYPE x100000. I can definitively say I have never laughed harder (my playbill was literally drenched in tears of laughter), and the songs (even the the non profane ones) were some of the catchiest I've ever heard (I've downloaded them and listen to them everyday). This should win ever single Tony award, best musical, best writing, even best revival, even though it wasn't one. THAT'S how good it was

Just saw this show, HILARIOUS, there were times I felt offended, but couldn't help but laugh out loud thru most of the show. I believe in God and Jesus Christ, as I was brought up Catholic. No matter how they choose to express themselves, I'm secure enough in my beliefs to know not take things so seriously and enjoy the artful expression. Can't wait to see it again.

I saw this when it was in previews. I just have to say that IT LIVED UP TO ALL THE HYPE x100000. I can definitively say I have never laughed harder (my playbill was literally drenched in tears of laughter), and the songs (even the the non profane ones) were some of the catchiest I've ever heard (I've downloaded them and listen to them everyday). This should win ever single Tony award, best musical, best writing, even best revival, even though it wasn't one. THAT'S how good it was

Respond to this video... ya christian god is the only god who inspired people to write it over an otherwise impossible series of events and people coming together over time to write it. they writters most never knew each other. bible is more well documented than any other book , not even greek and roman philosophers. he is the only living god

Just saw this show, HILARIOUS, there were times I felt offended, but couldn't help but laugh out loud thru most of the show. I believe in God and Jesus Christ, as I was brought up Catholic. But I am a strong believer that artists should express their talents, regardless of methods used, even if their offensive. No matter how they choose to express themselves, I'm secure enough in my beliefs to know not take things so seriously and enjoy the artful expression. Can't wait to see it again.
