  • you should heat up your engine before revving, that would give Vtec effect to this Vid

    :d

  • I´m also a film producer and I think you did this job well! I like your idea and the scenes! ;-)

  • Did they hire you for this? they should have.

  • how many of you smiled at 1:03

  • Nice camera work and it matches the theme of a real Honda commercial. Nicely done. S2000 is as close to a 4-wheeled motorcycle as you can get.

  • S2000 is awesome. Honda 4 life!

  • S2K IS KNOWN TO BE SLOW ON STRIGHT AWAY!????!NO MATTER WHAT TURBO OR NOT!!

  • @gmae2011 It's not always about power, its about weight and balance

  • Love my S2K! Proud owner here. Nice work with the commercial.

  • I love my s2k

  • Great byJapanese people

  • 20 ppl drive a boxter

  • true that, but you look like a douche lol...race on the track from now on.

  • lol

  • i love s2ks!!

  • Well Done. Better than most car co. ads

  • I like it, btw I love them in red. Unfortunatley, I got mine in silverstone metallic (doesn't stand out as much lol)

  • Oh that wasnt real great work fuck cant give u stars cuz the stupid thumbs up

  • coooooooool

  • not circuit・・・

  • hahaha this is an awesome commercial. almost like a gran turismo opening sequence lol. very cool!

  • cool...proud owner....

  • touche

  • like the video. creative and good quality... revving a cold engine though haha

  • if you look at the dash you'll see the motor isn't cold

  • haha for school!? thats really kool. S2000! only love of my life <3

  • nice job guy ;) I like it

  • tarzanic, nope, it's serious, that's pretty much how i get dressed before taking her out.

  • hahahaahahahaha was it meant to be funny? not very practical to be wearing a helmet and a pair of gloves on suburban road.. but pretty good video

  • I love it, its amazing. The helmet is a little much though.

  • nicely done!

  • Gotcha license plate!

  • LMFAO

  • Barev Aper...you like my video lol

  • @HvRRZ ehh

    hayes?

    lava [:

    mat harts.

    es mekenan arjooma arnel?

  • Nice job

  • thank you

  • Damn I thought it was a rea commercial. Good work. Funny how he wore a helmet and gloves lol.

  • Nice vid! As if from Honda themselves. If you used the official logo it would have been more trickier!

  • great job it looks real and impressive. It was well done. I thought it was from honda until half way through the video.

  • Nice :)

  • hahaha. girl like driver with helmet! good idea. good job. I wanna do it with mine as well :D

  • This is a bawlin' car, no questions asked.

  • Loved that racking shot from the back wheel to the front to the garage door opening so sick! but ya agreed about the helmet maybe some sunglasses would have been better! but still look pretty good!

  • I like the angles and cuts you used.

Only thing that could make it better is an aftermarket exhaust on that thing :)

  • Look at the helmet from Keiichi Tsuchiya in the best motoring series. That should be here in whatever color and then would be the film perfect

  • 5 stars!! but 1 mistake: I think the helmet is a bit...

oldschool. This helmet don't fix this car .

on the other hand the video is very very good

  • I have it!!! :D

  • Not bad at all, well done and do more!!

  • this is a good commercial.

  • ahahahah amazing commercial!!!!

good job from S2000 owner! ;)

  • Well done dude :)

  • I SO FUCKIN WANT ONE!!! I guess i will buy one that crashed, and i will fix it up :D

  • lol not a bad commercial but very nice s2k

  • cool voice

  • I want that BMW 5-Series Estate near the end of the "commercial".

  • lol not bad dude. I enjoyed it :)

  • Ha Ha that would be so funny to see some guy driving out of his garage with a helmet and racing gloves on in the suburbs

  • @srt4yomama

    lol

  • hey!!! this is the car of sharpay!! in hsm3!!

    highschool musical 3!!

  • Opel and Holden are wholly-owned subsidiaries of General Motors, no different from Chevy or Pontiac. GM is not just an American company, its just incorporated in America. Probably not for long though with the 2nd highest corporate taxes being in America.

  • wow good work.

  • lol all that arguing over a video he made for school. ppl kill me.

  • Do you just not want to admit it? The Solstice GXP and Sky Redline kick this car's ass. In every way, and for $4000 less. Arrange a race, either in stock or tuned form, doesn't matter. Drag race, city course, circle track, Nurburgring, doesn't matter. You LOSE!!

  • Yeah man, thats great the GXP and Redline are fast cars. But you realize that you are comparing a natural aspirated car to a....how many psi turbo?? The Honda S2000 is a 200,0000 mile car. Can not say much for the Opel. Haha! Plus, Honda usually does not belive in forced induction. The MDX is their forced induction vehical in how many years?? GM was also the first company that failed with the 'first company to have a turbo passenger car'. Nissan has not have one failure.

  • Haaa ha ha ha - Solstice? LOL "Redline" ... what freaky world do you live in? That's not even the same league! I've driven both - not a comparison, on paper or on the road.

  • lol

  • @mechmusician GM also doesn't win very many awards for their engines in third party unbiased comparisons. Just saying.

  • @mechmusician GM also doesn't win very many awards for their engines which would compete against honda in third party comparisons. Just saying.

  • And GM was the first company to put a turbo in a production passenger car. 1962 Chevrolet Corvair.

  • did you google that?

  • The only reason Honda is still around is because the Japanese Govt subsidized (not even loans, just free money) them in the 90's, and they practiced trade dumping, which is illegal, all through the 80's and 90's just like most Japanese companies. Asian businesses are the dirtiest, sleaziest, most corrupt on the planet. GM only gets high-interest loans for help.

GM owns Vauxhall, Opel, Holden, and Daewoo retards. And where am I wrong on the stats? O yeah, I'm not.

  • wow...

  • well i guess it paid off or we all mostly be driving shitty american half assed cars or overpriced german cars and paying just as much or not more than a jap car

  • Don't you know that Honda is the only Japanese manufacturer which stands alone without govt help? Even GM gets govt financial help right? lol

You know what? Asian biz is the most efficient in the world. Their manufacturers know what does market want. Just realize that American does like Toyota Camry and Honda Accord better than Ford Taurus

Japanese cars also known for their reliability. Americans are just live in their so-called 'the big three', which all of them are about to go to bankruptcy

  • For the record, Honda received MASSIVE government subsidies in the 90's and 80's. Not the high-interest loans GM has, but free money. Look it up. And just like Mitsubishi, Sony, Toyota, Nissan, Hitachi, and a myriad of other Japanese companies, Honda practiced trade dumping; the practice of selling products in a foreign market for less than in their domestic market. This practice is and was illegal under the United Nations.

  • Oh, and the Solstice GXP is around $4K cheaper. And quality? GM's quality is the same as Honda's. American engineering; love it or shove it bitches.

  • ROTFLMFAO!!!!!!!!

  • This car is a piece of shit. The Saturn Sky Redline and Pontiac Solstice GXP own it. Bigger brakes, 3mpg better in the city and 6mpg better on the highway, direct injection, 100lb-ft more torque, 23hp more, sturdier canopy, ONstar, semi-auto transmission, wider stance, more G's on the skidpad, higher top speed and better acceleration. Suck GM's dick, Honda.

Hell the base Chevy Corvette gets better mileage than this piece of shit with 280lb-ft more torque and 200 more ponies. S2K BLOWS!!!

  • LMFAO!!!!!!!

  • I am sorry buddy, keep dreaming about GM engineering their cars. The Sky, Solstice, and GTO are not their cars! Opel and Vauxhall design their cars dude. Plus GM got thier forced induction technology from Nissan. Learn your facts before sounding stupid! GM is about to go bankrupped, Honda is doing fine selling everything else (bikes, generators, jets, atv's). Looks like GM will be sucking Honda's dick! :)

  • just wanna add correction, you're right about where Sky and Solstice are from Opel. Yet GTO is derived from Holden Monaro, long ago before Vauxhall sell it in UK as a Vauxhall.

Anyway, The Sky and Solstice gets their manual 'box from Aisin

  • Nice editing.

  • I like the car and its specs..and it's handling and everything..but as i see it on the street it wasn't as captivating as when i see the nissan 350z...but i'd pick this car over the z...

  • nice

  • cool and hiliarious

  • i dont care about furtado okay regina ho ho ho michael jackson is here

  • Good job! Represent the S2k!

  • Very nice! great job :)

  • The first 50 seconds are too dark to enjoy, nice try.

  • Absolutely Amazing!

You really made this for a school project?

    How much was the budget?

And did you get any statement from Honda?

  • Thank you very much! Yes this was one of our final projects before graduation. Honestly I must have spent about $300 dollars total. $100 went to pizzas for everyone that helped me that day. The rest was spent on the helmet and gloves. The suit was donated to me for the shoot from simpson racing, and all the equipment was donated as well(lights, camera, etc). I contacted the companies and when they heard it was for a school project they were very nice to help me out.

  • hey ruben, can't believe all this hits!!!

  • hey hey long time no talk :). I know it's crazy right. I keep finding it linked to different sites....a lot of foreign sites are linking it.

  • You should make an S2000 Video of some sort!!...

The Film Making of the commercial is amazing!!

  • Very nice job! From a proud red S2000 owner.

  • if i was the CEO of honda, id probably buy this commercial.

  • this was really good. kudos to you

  • haha nice! You really have talent.

  • Nicely DONE! Great filming!

ps. The helmet part was funny as hell! HAHAHA!

  • zomg 2 liters of furius power

  • Nicely done, I like it.

  • That seperate starter switch is throw back to 1949, let's get rid of it.

  • that was great, u dont see 2 many sports car adverts on the tv, but this could certainly change peoples minds about buying that boring hatch they were thinking about.

  • i dig it. good job. looked professional.

  • AP2 FTMFW!

  • ap1

    9>8!!

  • Good job, it would have been cool if you Green screened your garage when he was reving the engine and put like some kind of race event and a crowd cheering in the background then have it flash back to just being a garage. lol

  • That does sound pretty good. We may have been able to pull something like that off, but didn't have the equipment around to even attempt it. Maybe for the next one :)

  • Great work and very well done. GO S2000!

  • great video! Come to see the video of my Honda S2K if you want! :D

  • I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!.NA engine on a lightwheight sport compact car and FR, this combination is perfect at least for me...

  • Very nice. I like the helmet wearing as if you were headed for the track.

  • nc video...you could be a director!!..^_^

  • great work with the camera. 5 stars! you have a talent my friend. Now Follow it my pet! lol jk

  • Wow amazingly done! This is just like a real commercial.

  • sorry for messin up the comments on here..i just hate asshats...but anyway good work on the video the shots and idea look like what a real commercial would have

  • Good job, very slick. What camera did you use to shoot, the DOF shots were pretty awesome.

  • Panasonic P2, and thank you :)

  • when your cut off by a honda

you will be saying to yourself is that a type r

  • great work and the sound is amazing!!!

  • this is incredible.

  • not trying 2 b a smartass but ya exhaust is leaking a lil bit of water der, u shuld get dat checked out

  • lol i love that shot where it leaks out. it's normal anyway so no worries. I washed the car before the shoot, and it's just the water left over in the tips coming out.

  • Its supposed to dumb ass. nice video by the way man

  • your a dum fuk, u idiot i jus found out he washed da car, but if your exhaust is leaking water normally it means u got a problem u fukin retard, ma 8 yr old cus seems 2 kno more shit den u, u must b 6 yrs old?

  • It is condensation you twat waffle. That happens because the temperature of the exhaust is hotter than the air outside. Get a glass of ice water and set it outside and it will do the same thing. Nothing wrong with the car. ask your little cousin, he'll tell you

  • actually you're all wrong...believe it or not considering gas is a hydrocarbon...and during combustion it combines with oxygen...guess what one of the products of burning gasoline is...oh wow...WATER! learn some chemistry dipshit...when a car is first started or is left idleing for a little while theres not enough exhaust gases to push it all the way out of the exhaust

  • no. it would not drip out as soon as he started it. its condensation. he said he had just washed it for the video. so just stick to SELLING cars not working on them. and i've seen pintos nicer than your fuckin pontiac

  • the car had been idling for awhile smart ass...notice the fact the engine was hot when he revved it.... you would if you paid attention the the temp gauge... and also knew that the S2000 wont rev to 9 grand until the engine gets up to proper running temperature cause if it was just started and cold...the computer makes the revs stop at 7...ill stick to knowin more about cars than you...dipshit

  • actually let me correct myself...8 grand in this case because this is an ap2...either way the computer wont let it hit redline until it gets hot

  • oh yeah, sure there are pintos nicer out there than your car too...dont get mad i afford a nicer car than what mommy n daddy bought you

  • i may be missing it, but who are you responding too lol

  • reedville123 hes a page back

  • ah..i c :)

  • actually you're all wrong...believe it or not considering gas is a hydrocarbon...and during combustion it combines with oxygen...guess what one of the products of burning gasoline is...oh wow...WATER! learn some chemistry dipshit...

  • im sorry we rnt all nerds like u u fukin cocksucking homo

  • hahaha if you werent so busy trying to figure out why you started growing hair on your dick and paid attention in high school you'd know that its basic chemistry...thats why when someone says "stupid americans" half the time i feel ashamed i cant argue their point cause "cocksucking homos" like you make it true. so yeah ill keep on being a "nerd" while you flip my burgers...bitch...now get off krystal's wifi and go make me a steamer sack

  • hahaha, me fliping burgers? funny cunt, truthfully i really cant b fuked wit u, enjoy getting butt raped in the USAF, il probz here bout u getting shot in da face by sum crazy arab in afgani enjoy u fukin faggit

  • no more than likely youll hear about me banging your girl three times and then youll be finding out what my dick tastes like when she gets back home to you after ive left port in good ol' austrailia ;)

  • great camera angles!

  • nice work!

  • pretty good. I liked the camera work.

  • lols

  • Um.....the car was warm when revving look at the bars. sheesh :/

  • oo nice! i love the camera work.

  • lol

  • Wow! This is cool bro! Love the S2000!!!

  • yeah rev that baby up in a closed garage!

  • And then?

  • no and then! lol

  • great job , looks like a pro did it

  • great job homie.

  • very proffesional

  • Great commercial on AP2 (2004+) Honda s2000, looks darn great. Hope i see this on television some day.

  • sick video. maybe a fast fly by or something? but overall turned out great...should send it into honda

  • That's pretty damn funny. I think it's a very marketable advertisement lol

  • I think you could have hammed it up a little more at the end, but that's pretty neat work the way it is.

  • Good job!

  • Looks Professional nice..film school?...

  • Thank you. Appreciate it. I'm a multimedia major. :)

  • Great job!

  • i love the comments

  • I've been this exact car!!!! Im sad i didnt get the email =(

  • wow, strong commercial

  • It's a great video!! Love the helmet!!

  • got the link off club4ag

very well done! I like it a lot

  • i don't think honda would want ppl revving the engines

  • i like it, great job.

    s2kiftw

  • Nice Oh and just to let you in on the latest scoop, there will not be another S2000 once this one goes away in 09. You will not see a "Honda" badged sports car in this country for another 20 years.

  • *sigh* commercials are supposed to be around 30 seconds. Any longer than that the average tv watcher become uninterested, as did I. Lots could be cut out. Awesome concept tho. Could also be used as an intro to a "Day at the track" type video. Good job :P

  • I hear you, but check out some of hondas other commercial and you'll be surprised at the lengths of them :)
