  • love. :)

    that is all.

  • OMG BLACKBIRD!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • When they start harmonizing at 1:40 it almost sends shivers up my spine.

  • Why the hell does Linda have a British accent after living her whole life in America until age 27? I am sorry for her premature death, but Linda seems like she was a total phoney.

  • @RRJ2208 Well when you live in England and are around people with British people for quite a few years, you sort of start to develop an accent. I have a friend who used to live in England and moved to the US and now has an American accent, so no, Linda isn't a phony.

  • Great Sir Paul. I bet Linda is watching over Sir paul ...guiding him wherever he would go.

  • Nice mullet, Paul

  • 3:24 I love how Linda just sings the "do do do" part in the background and it fits perfectly =)

  • linda looks gorgeous as usual. i LOVE seeing them together. just wonderful. r.i.p linda, you were the best

  • He has such a sweet voice in this. It's amazing to hear this and then think about songs like Monkberry Moon Delight and Long Tall Sally, where he really lets loose. That's why I appreciate Paul more than any other musician I have ever heard. He can do anything and make it sound pretty damn good to near excellent. I love the way his and Linda's voices mesh. She did some great backup singing in Wings. It wouldn't have been the same without her!

  • This man is so freaking talented

  • Linda sang in a band that I think made more money than the Beatles had at that point.

  • @plfdjack you're dumb...

  • i never get sick of his mullet!

  • Take enough pics and you might get a good one.

  • the 8 people who disliked this video are so dumb for real

  • so nice listening to Paul singing Michelle! i would like to be his Michelle!

  • Okay, I think we all can agree, Paul was soooooo CUTE and Linda was soooooooo PRETTY but Paul.... I gotta ask man, whats up with the mini mullet? And Linda, whats up with the shoes? Hahahha :)

  • 01.36 elbow bang on the guitar...ouch!

  • @mykylc All I hear is Linda taking a picture at 1:36 ??

  • @mrstevehartman She snaps that pic and right after that as she is standing her arm hits the head of the guitar...it takes both of their attention away for a split second

  • @mykylc UGGHHHHH, well maybe. Hard to tell whether Paul moved his guitar neck foreward at that moment ? I will say tho, at 1:38 Linda and Paul do stare down at Pauls guitar machine head very briefly. HHHMMMMMM ???

  • Black and Blue Birds :p

  • @JoeandNickareccute11 She was, but she moved to England to be with Paul.

  • I like this vid... its sweet.

She wasn't that bad at singing...

  • why wouldnt people like her?

  • I'm not doubting she can sing, Yes I am! Her mouth is never shown while the humming and words is dubed in.

And who is taking pictures or her while she is clicking paul?

  • so beautiful :)

  • see,she could sing.beautiful voice & cleaned up beautifully as well! love u linda..r.i.p. angel.we miss you! I will stand up for her to assholes til the day I die. So fu shitheads that dont like her! melody.

  • 3:02 lol

they were a great couple..... a lot of ppl dont like linda, i do i dont see why they dont like her their jelous or something..lol

  • They look so in to each other. It was truly lovely. You can see the admiration in Lindas face when she was taking his photos. She was prolly thinkin, Damn I got a fine looking husband and he's all mine!

  • They sing nice together.

Everybody here go to earcandyfilms and give that guy tons of shit. He's a prick.

  • they are the to dove's in the tree :) they make me want to be in love! :))))) always be in love! paul and linda RIP linda mccartney :(

  • I love this! Its amazing how she picked up a British accent from him. So cute!

  • I come back three years later and find 56,841 people still enraptured by these two lovebirds. How touching, you guys! :D

  • she new he was a pretty baby..her love 4 him was far more powerful than she could withstand...rip Linda

  • GREAT AS ALWAYS FROM PAUL

  • Linda's look at Paul @ :45 says it all..

  • linda was so pretty i love her rip we love you!

  • amazing

  • Everyone should love so well.

  • Paul looks wierd like that lol

  • I think Paul's hair looked best in 64'

    That kinda looks mulletishh...

    <3333

  • paul speaks bits of alot of languages. every world concert eh does he speaks a bit in that place's language. he uses language for his songs oo, to great effect, other languages are beautiful.

  • Paul sounds best when he's happy or in love, liek ehre. Linda helped paul write his top hits like "Live & Let Die"

  • @4FabBEATLES everybody sounds best when happy or in love :D

    BUT SPECIALLY PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Heather Mills remains my favorite

    post-Beatle ex-wife.

  • what tuning did paul use here?

did he drop everything down 3 half steps?

michelle sounds nice played like this

  • People who have musical talent should express themselves musically. The late Linda McCartney had none. I've heard several of her compositions, those on which she caterwauls. They are heavily-layered with the voices of others as she's in great need. Surely nobody is putting forth the supposition that there were times when she wasn't tone-deaf? Linda McCartney presented herself as a musician, which she was not. She met the definition of charlatan.

  • I agree

  • true- she sisnt ask to join Wings- she just suddenly learned to play keyboard so she could be there to emotionally support Paul. Paul asked her to be in the band as a favor to him, and cause' Paul was nice. Linda helped write lyrics to some famous Paul McCartney songs like (Live & Let Die)- so she did contribute and at least she didn't break up any bands or bother anyone.

  • Linda McCartney wasn't a singer nor a musician. Her obedience, reverence & fidelity in regards to Beatle Paul earned her a tambourine. Encouraging her to sing went a step too far.

  • @ThePregnancySlaves

I completely agree; a singer and musician she was not. I believe she was very insecure and Paul placated her by having her with him in every aspect of his life...not that he minded. Linda seemed to live for Paul and at his service. They were a very tight couple, but I wonder yet how she had time to rehearse and tour - an unnatural role for her - especially being a mother of four...

  • @2079423644 : Paul's an awful painter. Linda took some nice pictures.

  • @ThePregnancySlaves

True that, although I have one of Linda's photography books which I bought from Amazon a few years ago. Out of 20 or so photos, about five were noteworthy. The rest were repetitive photos of trees done in sepia. However, she was definitely a talented photographer and cook, apparently.

  • @2079423644 : I've always viewed skeptically the commonly-held notion that photography is a great art and therefor photographers are great artists. If I take 3,000 photographs of anything, some are bound to be interesting to somebody. Now that picture-taking is dirt-cheap & easy, in this digitized age, the gentry can no longer monopolize the field. It's good that much of the mystique concerning photography has evaporated.

  • @ThePregnancySlaves

Yes, the mystique of photography has vanished with the age of digital cameras. "Back in the day" as they say, I would use a roll or two of film in hopes of getting ONE good shot. Now, I can edit my photos instantly and delete those which don't come through. With the advanced cameras of today, it is hard NOT to get a quality picture. As for the photography hype of the past, it is all subjective. One man's "art" is another's dartboard.

  • @ThePregnancySlaves

She had a beautiful soft vocal, just check out 'Loves Full Glory' on my channel

    You're talking nonsense.

I think you may be jealous?

  • @promosounds : Linda McCartney's singing-voice compelled people to kill themselves. Don't! Suicide is NOT for you. Live!!!

  • @promosounds who wouldnt be? she did marry Paul McCartney

  • What speed film is she using that needs a flash with all those lights on?

  • ???? - but thats why she was a talented photographer

  • This made me shed a tear. How sweet these two are.

  • I love the song Bluebird, and Linda singing along adds a nice touch. They just mesh so well, not just with their voices, but in their love too.

Anyone who thinks she sings badly has not ever heard bad singing, and should be directed to videos of failed auditions on American Idol immediately.

  • @insertbestnameever It's Blackbird.

  • @insertbestnameever wow. blackbird.

  • @insertbestnameever I saw his Chicago concert at Wrigley Field, he didn't sing Bluebird during the concert but you could hear him singing it outside during sound check. <3

  • hermoso

    te amo McCa

  • wow what an ugly thing for a person to say about a beautiful person who is no longer with us, must be jealousy

  • to bad Paul and Linda never sang together a song like "If I fell" It would have sounded better than the Beatles version

  • mullet

  • They really loved each other...this makes me cry :'(

  • right on "loveisyou18" ! thats the type of response of a person who can see what they were about

  • It's just so...undescribable, their love. What can you say about soul mates that you cannot feel from watching them in love? What words could you express?! There are no words for true love, it just happens once in a lifetime, if you're even that lucky. Watching this again it tears me up :') It's one of those things that you think, "maybe I shouldn't be seeing this because it's so personal, it's bewteen them alone, I won't be able to feel what they are feeling"

    CONTINUED...

  • CONTINUED...

But you keep watching anyway because IT IS so beautiful and special and you can't help but see the connection and feel their love towards each other. It's something magical that you probably only witness a couple times in a lifetime, let alone actually feel yourself. I'm glad you feel the same way too missdebsM, it's nice that someone else appreciates everything Linda did for Paul and Paul for Linda. I'm happy to know we see what they shared with each other :)

  • Oh, ya sure. What did it take? A hot year for Paul to jump on that one leg horse?

  • Comment removed

  • you are so weird!

  • more like 3 years... and after 30 years of happy marriage to linda. Sir paul is still a man right? we got needs.. but he got his senses back and sent the bitch packing pretty damn quick. gawd, what a rag that Mills broad is...

  • they were so in love :(

    never a week apart.

    RIP Linda!

  • rest in peace Linda!

  • @Underthegun369 So correct! They really were so very in love! Everyone should be so fortunate to find someone else as they both did! Being in love and producing children with that person is the best anyone can ever hope to achieve in life! :)

  • @Underthegun369 in the entire time of their relationship, I believe they were only separated for 12 days, at the most

  • @Underthegun369 Except when Paul was arrested in Japan for a bunch of plants, unfortunately.

But it's truly amazing how connected and strong their marriage was. It's like they were 2 halves, when you really think about how together they were. Perhaps Paul's marriage to Heather was a misguided attempt of his to recapture that same feeling after he'd been left empty following Linda's death.

Paul did a wonderful and well-handled job at incorporating Linda into his music life and never leaving her

  • @Underthegun369 Never a week? More like never 15 minutes apart. And I LOVE THAT. They were so fantastic.

  • Cripes.. do ya think they have enough strobes on this set? Rather unrealistic...I

don't think any photographer would actually have that many lights for a shot of ONE person.

  • You'd have to shoot the back of his head to get a shot without a strobe or stand in it.

  • what would you know

  • this comment is for beerborn. She was the first woman to have her picture on the front of Rolling Stone before being famous paul

  • some people prefer canon, some people prefer nikon. neither are a bad choice.

  • Not really! Nikon are the best.

  • Paul and Linda had a bond that was immeasurable. They were ALWAYS together. Even if she was not a good singer she and Paul were in love with each other to a point that most of us couldn't even begin to imagine.

  • How can you have "nearly" eleven tours?

  • they were perfect together. i feel so sorry for paul with all the losses in his life... his mother linda john george.... its awful......

but what never ceases to amazes me is how he was still able to move on and be happy and bring joy to so many peoples lives... sometimes its really not fair...

    RIP LINDA MCCARTNEY

    we miss ya

  • soft rock....yes it is rock.

go and learn some muisc history.

  • This is so beautiful. Of course it's made more poignant by the fact that Linda passed away, but even so, it's a lovely "capture" of their love, if that makes sense. Watching her take photos is as mesmerizing as watching Paul do his fabulous thing. Watching them intermingle is even cooler.

  • Ahh yes, lovely lovely Linda, people said she couldn't harmonize but they've obviously never seen this video and SOMETIMES the monitors go out onstage and you can't even hear yourself singing! So now they know! LOL.

Indeed so, she was a multi-talent, mom and great friend to many people.

    ;)

    JB

    RIP L.E.M

  • Linda was a nice person no doubt, but she had no talent whatsoever. Her photos are "known" only because their subjects are celebrities. She was neither an artist nor a musician. Give it a rest! She's famous only because she married a Beatle. Ditto the harridan Yoko Ono.

  • Eh, I have to disagree, I don't think Paul would have been with someone untalented and he's a pretty keen fellow on many things. He'd probably been with enough untalented groupies to know the difference anyway. Also photography takes a skill, her photographs are marvelous and you're just voicing one opinion, give it a rest.

  • Linda was also famous as a well-known and popular groupie before she met Paul and married him. Her photography is technically well executed, professional, pleasant and interesting mainly for its subject matter; it certainly does not qualify as fine art like the work of Gary Winogrand, Robert Frank, Diane Arbus or William Eggleston, to name a few. And I'm sorry but her singing was wretched.

  • She was no groupie. If you think her singing is terrible, you've obviously never heard her solo work. Her voice was amazingly beautiful.

  • ditto! nerve of that person! cant believe it all the way from Canada, its takes a person with a very ugly character to say a thing like that

  • on yoko, hey mr. art critic -- ever heard of fluxus?

  • Makes you wonder why he married that old Arab's whore after he had had a lovely wife like Linda. Just goes to show how stupid men can be for a big pair of tits.

  • Paul marrying Heather was a classic case of a man being totally surrounded by yes men - noone had the balls to tell him: "bad idea that one-legged one...."

  • ''you live with straights who tell you you was king''

........that's got something to do with the yes men you mentioned...i think...

  • well...I actually think a lot of people warned him.friends..family.but he didn't listen.

  • I think Heather is beautiful and beguiling. But a lot of neurotics are vrey interesting and charming until you really get to know them and their obsessions start to wear you down.

  • Excellent video.

  • God! I love them! MACCA!!! He's beautiful singing 'Michelle' too! His french is adorable!

  • What a rare video and sweet treat to see them interacting this way. Just lovely.

  • Oh my God, he may be the most romantic guy who ever lived...

  • this is extremely cute.

  • I'm glad he had her!

  • I LUV BLUEBIRD!!!

  • Linda's so pretty, I miss her.

  • This is beautiful.

  • This amazing.

He truly is one of the greatest songwriters of all time.

  • lol wrong,...the best.

  • ah- the mullet/shag years! how 1973! LOL. But Paul always looks cool. except when he grew that mustache.

  • It was a fake mustache.

  • what do you mean? Paul grew a real one during Pepper and on the '76 tour and it doesn't quite work for him. one side always grows a bit weird and it doesn't quite connect in the center. Hey, i don't look good with just a mustache either which is why i'll never grow one . Paul still rules either way.

  • Just kidding. You have heard that, haven't you? The backwards message in Sgt. Pepper's Reprise where they say, "It was a fake mustache, it was a fake mustache!"

  • Ha! No , i missed that one. i'm a vinyl collector so i'll be able to play it backwards on my turntable.

  • it grows weird because he had an accident in 1966 and broke his toth and his lip, thats why he has fake a mustache in pepper, to hide the sacar......and of course HE RULES!!!!!

  • blackbird♥

  • Sweet. :3

  • why did so many people rate alot of the comments negative??? WEIRD

  • they are downed by few people who have nothing better to do..poor guys

  • I'm born in 1983 & obviously wasn't alive when this was filmed, but the essence captured in this is magnificent. She was his only love & no other woman can fill her shoes. They remind me of my grand-parents (58 yrs of marriage) how they still look at each other with the same passion in their eyes. U don't see that anymore because people forgot what really matters: love, respect & preserving that mind, body & soul connection...

  • Gosh - what a great team - Paul who loved to be watched and Linda who loved to photograph him - way back in 1973. The chemistry between them as they just play with video, music and the whole glamour and glitz thing of photographic lighting and close-up observation of two people and their relationship, is quite something to see. There's such sweetness in the way they look at each other - and in Linda's occasional helpful singalongs, but mostly her acute observation and silences.

  • She's prolly thinking "damn, my husband is so damn good looking. Aright Paul, wait till we get home"

  • Well, who wouldn't?

  • How would you know? Higher education? Even higher?

  • Yes, she was plain.

  • what the song at 03.11?

  • heart of the country from the album ram

  • just as an info, the other songs played are Blackbird from The Beatles from the White Album, Bluebird from Band On The Run, Michelle from the Beatles from Rubber Soul,

  • Paul = eyebrows waxing xD

    I love u paul

  • I think Paul loved Linda with all of his being. Losing her must have been extremely painful. I think his marriages are failing because, in many ways, he's trying to find someone to fill the void she left behind. Someone like her.

  • i know im gonna be hated for this but i kinda agree

  • Linda was pretty!she was a nice-looking lady, how can some people call her ugly??

    well..matter of taste..

all that matters anyway is that they were

    s i m p l y the BEST couple!

  • Why is she speaking with a British accent? She's from Scarsdale!

  • That's not a British accent :S

  • I KNOW. It's a FAKE British accent.

  • Well, when you live in a country for 30 years, and everyone around you speaks with an accent, you begin to pick it up. Ever notice that when someone from Europe moves to the US they lose their accent and start sounding more American? Same thing.

  • This was 1973 so she had been there for 4 years or so. I don't recall her putting this accent on later in life, when she still had that clenched jaw way of speaking.

  • that reminded me of something john lennon said while recording beautiful boy "it's hard not to pronounce the R now because i've been here (america) to long

  • aww

  • This is so beautiful and adorable. I love Paul and Linda. May Linda Rest in Peace.

  • How gorgeous were they?! Both of them doing what they do best- Paulie singing and Linda snapping his pic. RIP Linda!! Your Paulie loves and misses you and so do your fans!!

  • I love this video. They seemed to be so in love and made such a beautiful couple.

  • I love them both and always have. I remember when I was 16 and they married, for a moment I was crushed, until I saw a picture of them together and just felt how right they were for each other. I remember feeling better knowing she was an American...don't know why...Pax2them

  • most excellent mullet I must say.

  • It truly is a love story for the ages, so sad she got sick. She has my utmost respect...

  • qe amor

  • now thats what i call a true love story.

  • i luv them together so muuuch!

im a paul mccartney fan, he's so cute, but im glad he found linda. even though paul is a bad boy (learn y jane asher and him broke up the engagement, then you'll c y he was a bad boy) but he had great taste and he chose a kind and loving woman!(hmmm...i noticed that paul luv blondes)

    RIP linda...that prostitute mills...

  • She was pretty and cute, but i liked more Pattie Boyd!
