If you read Mansons book, you find out that Scott actually had no clue what the band was doing.

that is so so sad that scott left...it's even sadder the way they treated him..he founded that band! i'm angry that they did that to him...i'm also sad that the spooky kids and the silly funess they had at the time and antics are gone...just gone....i guess things have to change and grow...but it's still sad....love you scott!

@FridayMortimer Seems more like it was their baby. AND THEN THEY WENT THROUGH A BITTER DIVORCE!!!1 Though come to think of it, it was like many, many divorces in one.

Maybe that's why John Malm decided it would be fun to embezzle lots of money and "accidentally" lose the master recordings of the the first 3 MM album.
