The sound is great! Did you only use the line in on your mac? Because I also have a Powerball II (I love it!) and I'd like to record some guitar lines for my band...
So: Cable from the microphone right into the line in, or is there something in between? Or do you think it's also possible to use the line out from the amp, because till now I don't have any microphone...
SM 57 or condenser microphone placed in front of the cone and then hear the sound as you move right or left the microphone, check out some inclination of the microphone. When you like the sound store locations.
Non mi piace il suono che hai utilizzato. Ho lo stesso ampli ma con il 4° canale ho ottenuto un suono decisamente più definito. Non è un'offesa ma è una piccola critica che spero sia costruttiva :)
@Blaskhyrt Allora credo tu debba fare la tua critica costruttiva direttamente alla ENGL. Ho semplicemente usato un preset sul 4° canale per pick up emg consigliato dalla casa. ;)
just a question... u mentioned above to never use the direct line out....
will that harm the equipment or are you just talking about sound quality?

I think Engl amps eats marshalls for breakfast. If you buy an amp in europe, the choice is obvious.
