i have the same shoes!!!! XD good work btw, make sure u go through on demi pointe and really go through on demi pointe! it will help! :) hope this helps!
i have grishko 2007s too, and how hard r they? bcause i have them too and they are a very professinal shoe. you should be very good at pointe and have very high arches to be in those shoes. you should post a video of your arches bcause u shouldnt have grishko shoes if u dont have high arches. i have a medium shank and even those break esily 4 me!
good luck with your grishkos cause there amazinggg!!!!
and please , i forgot this. focus on what you're doing , even when somebody's talking to you or telling you something that you must be looking at. and please! BREAK IN your pointes. i've done this and they're now more comfy!
oh my!!! you are not staying on your box . when you get on the box , try to push better that you can get stabille and dance. if you wont stay on your box FULLy , you'll get hurt and nobody wants this. but for you , it is a very good practice. keep going on and please listen carefully to what i told you! hope it helps!
y dont get bloch ive got bloch aspiration and they prpaa gud just cos u dnt like bloch they do help some other people! =C an byokrispeta wth do her feet suk they dont its her first try on pointe she's still got a lot to learn! i fink ur gud anyway 'lovetodance' wel done =D
It's really good that you're rolling through your shoes, you just need to break them in more. I had those shoes but I had the SS shank. I recently switched to Russian Pointes and like them so much better.
If this is only after one class that is great. But I would suggest working on first getting on your box, then working on your arch. Try doing flat foot exerises to strengthen your ankles.
how old were you when you started general ballet? Do you have to have normal ballet experience in order to start pointe classes because im going to start pointe soon but i need to know what are the requirements and if im too old to start pointe...Im 12.
Hi i'm a student at the Royal Ballet and as i am experienced i would say: not bad considering it is your first time on pointe, just be careful when you're going onto pointe that you roll through you're demi-pointe.You have potential. Maybe one-day you'll get a scholarship. The best begginer i've ever seen and by the way... good choice of shoes!
Not bad, I would say don't be afraid to really beat on the shoes to make them comfortable. If you don't work them in with your hands you will end up dancing in them incorrectly. That can put you at risk of injury as well as break your shoes in wrong and you will have to get new ones sooner. Also be direct in your movement when you go onto pointe. You tend to crawl up instead of getting to your full arch extension right away. That will make you stronger & more controlled on pointe.
@apotata Actually the advice that you gave is the exact opposite of the truth. Breaking them in with your hands bends the shank in places that your actual arch doesn't bend which causes you to dance in them incorrectly therefore leading to injury. Please know what you are talking about before you give advice because it could really hurt someone, especially a dancer who is new to pointe. Thanks
I think your vamps are too high.
