they're both two amazing guitar amps...you should listen and play both of 'em and then decide which to buy according to your personal style of playing!

will do. but im probably gonna go with the JVM cuz of all the channels...since my band plays a lot of songs that require switching from clean to crunch and stuff. and i dont think there is a clean channel on the vintage modern.

the vintage modern sucks sooo much...it sounds like assssss. the JVM is the most beautiful versatile amp ever.

Played 'em both recently...was disappointed with the Vintage Modern. It was somewhat shrill on the top end and mushy and flubby on the bottom end. But the JVM was way sweet...nice tight bottom end, lovely midrange growl and just right on the highs.
