Quality. This the first time I've seen this footage. This is very strange viewing this. My father was born in Uganda, however I had lived in Wycombe for a couple years over 10 years ago great little town.
Great to see this. The 1948 Indian Olympic team played Boldmere St Michaels (Birmingham) and won 1-0 and a few of the Indians did not play in boots either. That is written in the book called `A History of Boldmere St Michaels FC` you can buy the book from `eBay` or good book shops like `W.H. Smith, Waterstones ect. Boldmere have a great website called Unofficially Boldmere St Michaels who celebrate 125 years in 2008.
Where is the Spirit NOW!!! The evidence is here for all your who never knew that Ugandan Team could come this far back in the days, It would be Good to see Uganda Cranes Doing the same...
This very similar to watching Sheff Weds at Leyton Orient last month (Weds were not as good as the ugandans).

My dad, Okot p' Bitek was on this team. I'd love to see longer footage. Better yet, I'd love to see him! Fantastic footage!
